Chewy is looking for a highly motivated, curious, and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Dog Consumables Finance team! This role offers the opportunity to help build the financial infrastructure that powers insights and decision-making across the entire Dog Consumables business via strategic analysis, reporting innovation, and process improvement. We're looking for someone who loves digging into data, building tools, streamlining processes, and unlocking cross-category insights.
What You'll Do:
- Design and maintain reporting tools and dashboards to support the Consumables Finance team
- Partner across categories to identify trends, share best practices, and generate insights that span the broader Consumables business
- Drive process improvement and reporting standardization, enhancing team efficiency and data reliability
- Support forecasting, month-end reporting, and business review cycles (WBR/MBR/QBR) through data prep, visualization, and insight development
- Manage centralized team files and data repositories, ensuring accuracy, version control, and accessibility for the full team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Category Management, Product, Data Science, Accounting, etc.) to support ad hoc analyses and business initiatives
What You'll Need:
- BA/BS degree required; Preferred in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management, Business Analytics, or Economics
- 0- 2 years of relevant finance or other analytical experience with an understanding of financial statements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to coordinate, manipulate, and draw insights from data
- Advanced Excel skills (i.e. VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.)
- Familiarity with or interest in SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools (experience is a plus, but not required)
- Attention to detail and ownership mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
