Job Duties and Responsibilities
The DISH Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team provides decision support to improve the business and drive corporate strategy. The DISH Technologies Finance team is part of Corporate FP&A and supports the DISH Technologies organization with all aspects of traditional FP&A functions, ad hoc analyses, strategic project support and business operations support. The Financial Analyst I role will report to the Sr. Finance Manager, DISH Technologies Finance. This is a highly-visible role that will have the opportunity to work with senior leaders in DISH Technologies as well as business partners across the organization. The ideal candidate is an action-oriented team player who is curious, has strong business and operational acumen, and good judgment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Act as a trusted advisor and strategic business partner to the DISH Technologies leadership team
- Lead monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, forecasting, KPIs
- Assist in annual budgeting and preparation of presentations for CFO/CEO discussions
- Provide decision support on strategic initiatives using financial modeling (ROI, NPV, DCF)
- Track spending with the goal of identifying and communicating risks and opportunities
- Champion teamwork and opportunities for continuous improvement for the DISH Technologies Finance team
- Business Operations:
- Support purchase requisitioning activities, spend justification, vendor set up, fixed asset set up
- Study contractual agreements and ensure accuracy of charges while focusing on cost efficiencies and risk-mitigation
- Build and maintain relationships with internal teams (Supply Chain, Accounts Payable), as well as key vendors
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Finance / related-field OR minimum experience of 3 years in Finance /Accounting /Business Operations
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong Excel skills is a must
- Experience in Finance / Technology industry preferred
- Familiarity with OneStream, Oracle, Google-Suite preferred
- Can work independently to meet deadlines as well as manage workload to be able to support other team members as needed
- Can communicate effectively, interact and present information across a large spectrum of audiences including senior leadership
- Must be an action-oriented team player with a strong sense of accountability for quality and timeliness of results
- Have a strong sense of curiosity that drives creative solutions to complex business problems
- Is a self-motivated, self-starter and independent thinker with sound decision-making skills
- Is perceptive of changing priorities and is able to adapt to demands of the business
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $54,650.00/Year - $78,100.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
