Vultr is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Financial Analyst individual contributor. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, a self-starter, and creative. This role is critical in ensuring we maximize the revenue contribution of our deployed infrastructure by identifying underutilized assets and orchestrating actions for their optimal utilization. This is a highly visible role in a high-growth technology company, which will require working closely with the operations and infrastructure teams and performing pricing analysis to drive efficiency and revenue growth. What to expect:
- Monitor and analyze usage trends of existing infrastructure assets (including cloud and bare metal) to identify underutilized capacity.
- Quantify the potential revenue impact of optimizing underutilized infrastructure.
- Initiate and coordinate work orders and processes for the strategic redeployment of assets, including migrations between cloud and bare metal environments, based on cost and revenue optimization analysis.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to facilitate the activation of new gear and ensure its timely and effective deployment for revenue generation.
- Work closely with technical teams to understand capacity constraints and opportunities for optimization.
- Develop and maintain reporting and dashboards to track infrastructure utilization, identify bottlenecks, and measure the impact of optimization initiatives on revenue.
- Analyze market conditions and internal data to recommend temporary or permanent pricing adjustments aimed at increasing infrastructure utilization, in coordination with relevant pricing and business teams.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of processes and strategies for effective infrastructure asset management and revenue optimization.
Our new team member will need:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Economics, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline.
- Proven experience in data analysis, revenue management, capacity planning, or infrastructure-related roles.
- Understanding of infrastructure concepts, including cloud computing (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and physical data center environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
- Ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., PowerBI, spreadsheets, SQL) and experience with data visualization.
- Familiarity with work order or project management systems is preferred.
Compensation:
$70,000 - $95,000
This salary can vary based on location, years of experience, background and skill set.
