Our interns partner with teams across EchoStar working to drive our latest game-changing innovation. Our internship is a 10 week, in-person experience that is paid hourly with eligible overtime. Interns are given a business project(s) to complete over the summer and present their results to leadership and their peers. EchoStar provides each intern with a manager to support them with the execution of their project.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst Intern - Corporate FP&A to support the business through data-driven insights and modeling. As a part of the larger Finance organization, you will have the opportunity to engage with various groups across the entire company.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in operating and improving subscriber profitability models and creating forward-looking financial and valuation models
• Support the evaluation of the company's capital structure and liquidity position, assisting in the development of models to forecast long-term capital needs
• Support operational groups with revenue and cost forecasting, financial modeling, and various ad hoc analyses
• Collaborate with operating groups to perform financial and strategic analyses aimed at improving performance across all business areas
• Evaluate subscriber-facing offers to determine profitability and identify potential financial risks
• Interpret financial data to provide actionable recommendations, and assist in creating and delivering financial presentations to upper management
• Provide support for budgeting and financial reporting processes

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:

• GPA 3.3 or above
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, in a related field of study
• Must have 60 credit hours completed by May 2026

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
• Outstanding problem-solving and quantitative analysis skills, with the ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions
• Well-developed oral and written presentation skills, including the ability to simplify complex financial concepts into easy-to-follow materials for stakeholders
• A foundational understanding of valuation and key finance concepts

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $18.00/Hour - $24.00/Hour
