The Finance Operations Lead manages accounting, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and revenue operations. They will implement accounting systems and ensure compliance.
Entri is looking to hire a Finance Operations Lead. We’re looking for an experienced finance leader with 6+ years of experience. This individual would report to our fractional CFO, and work closely with our CRO and CEO.
Outline of general responsibilities:
General Accounting
- Quickbooks management including implementation of more advanced features
- Handle incoming accounting support queries that go to our accounting email alias
- Ramp transaction review and categorization
- Process contractor invoices via Skuad/Ramp
- Payroll management (Rippling/Remote.com)
- Review and manage expenses
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting and various end of month closing tasks, reporting, and reconciliations
Accounts Payable
- Manage ramp bill pay system
Accounts Receivable
- Manage AR to ensure timely collections
- Follow custom workflows for certain enterprise clients
- Manage account credits/bad debt clean up
Rev Ops
- Commissions calculations for Sales team
- Manage monthly partner payouts
- Manage revenue cycle in quote to cash system and accounting platform
Overview of desirable skills and education:
Education/Certification
- CPA, CMA, MBA, or strong equivalent experience.
Systems Familiarity
- NetSuite, Intacct, or other ERP experience (currently using QBO, but may want to migrate to a more robust system in the future).
- Experience with different revenue management systems.
- Excel/Google Sheets advanced skills (modeling, formulas, pivots).
Compliance & Controls
- Comfort with internal controls, audit prep, tax compliance (sales tax, 1099s, etc.).
Other Skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. This is a start-up, so experience working in a start-up environment is a strong plus.
- Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills.
- Collaborative mindset with ability to work cross-functionally.
