About the Role
Dandy is seeking a Manager of FP&A who will play an integral role in building out our FP&A capabilities and drive analytical processes to support mission-critical business decisions. We are seeking a highly motivated, action-oriented finance professional with proven experience in financial modeling, management reporting, planning/forecasting and planning software administration. You will be joining a small but highly motivated FP&A team at an exciting time as we enter our next stage of growth, reporting to the Senior Director of FP&A. You will contribute towards scaling the finance function to support a rapidly growing, complex and data intensive business to provide the critical information flow that will allow Dandy to effectively allocate its resources.
What You'll Do
Provide deep insights into financial performance and key business drivers, challenge assumptions, and proactively deliver actionable recommendations to optimize financial performance and support business objectives
Partner with broader FP&A team and business partners on Annual budgeting, interim forecasting and long range planning for several key functional areas of the business such as Post Sales (Training, Account Management, CX)
Develop standardized cash reporting and insights and provide oversight for weekly cash movement
Operate as key business partner with accounting to drive toward more accurate and efficient reporting proactively
Manage and actualize our financial model on a monthly basis, including cash
Take ownership of managing executive and investor reporting through delivering essential financial updates succinctly and by being the project manager as it relates to deck creation and keeping the finance team on task
Develop and implement high-quality, tactical recommendations for improvements to existing processes, including but not limited to, process automation
Make sense of complex problems using analysis and regularly takes action based on an understanding of data
What We're Looking For
4+ years of relevant Finance experience (FP&A, Investment banking, PE), preferably with 2+ years in a high growth startup in an FP&A role
High proficiency with complex financial modeling and reporting techniques
Ability to understand complex business drivers, produce high-quality analytics and communicate insights effectively to all levels of management
Excellent communicator and collaborator across multiple functions and management levels with a service-oriented, business partnering approach
Excels in an ambiguous environment where processes are not defined
Operates with a sense of urgency and a willingness to get in the weeds to improve processes
Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized and extremely proactive
Fluency with Microsoft Excel and Google Docs/Sheets
Experience with Netsuite, Looker, and Airbase preferred
Corporate planning tool implementation or administration experience highly desired (Cube or similar tool)
Bonus Points For
BI tool proficiency, SQL or comparable query language experience
