About This Role

The Finance Escalations Coordinator will report to the finance department and will act as the liaison between the funding team and all other departments for escalated or stuck projects with outstanding funding.


Overall Responsibilities

  • Cross-departmental coordination on projects in all stages of the pipeline 
  • Focus on reducing financial risk and/or clearing stuck AR on aging projects that have stalled, are pending PTO, or have blockers that are preventing funding
  • Lender complaint management and resolution to maintain good standing and compliance with all finance partners 
  • Process refinement and improvement 
  • Reporting, tracking and projecting potential financial impact of aging projects
  • Alerting departments of lender timeline expirations to ensure projects reach each funding milestone in the allotted time provided by the finance partner to prevent funding clawbacks
  • Staying up to date on all lender compliance guidelines


Qualifications 

  • Prior experience in solar industry operations with general knowledge of each stage of the pipeline 
  • Solar funding experience (LightReach finance partner experience is a plus)
  • General finance knowledge and experience 
  • Comfortable organizing and facilitating strategic meetings 
  • Ability to problem solve and overcome challenging operational obstacles
