Role Summary:

Hasana is seeking a Financial Data Analyst to turn our financial data into clear, trustworthy insight. As we grow as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, this role is central to our commitment to transparency: analyzing how funds are allocated and spent, producing reports that make our numbers accessible, and laying the groundwork for future dashboards and reporting tools. A minimum of 2–3 hours per week is required for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial and donor data to show clearly where funds are going

• Produce regular reports and summaries for leadership and stakeholders

• Track and visualize trends in fundraising, spending, and program allocation

• Help design and eventually maintain reporting dashboards as they are developed

• Ensure analysis is accurate, well-documented, and reproducible

• Work alongside other finance team members to keep data clean and consistent
  

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience or solid knowledge in financial/data analysis

• Strong spreadsheet skills (Excel / Google Sheets), including formulas, pivot tables, and basic modeling

• Ability to learn new tools and concepts quickly

• Clear, concise written communication for presenting findings

• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accuracy and accountability

• Prior nonprofit experience (a plus!)

• Bilingual (a plus, not required)

• Commitment and dedication to showing up consistently for the role
