The Field Director- Learning and Development is responsible for leading a team of Operational Training Specialists and Coordinators within a specific region, consulting with business partners and cross functional leaders to assess training needs, and project manage the creation and implementation of learning and development programs.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead a team of remote learning and development professionals, providing guidance, feedback, coaching, and support to ensure the successful execution of training programs and the continuous growth, development, and engagement of the team members.
- Work closely with senior leaders and HR teams to understand business priorities and translate those into tailored development solutions that inspire growth and empower leaders to succeed in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
- Collaborate with operational partners to drive a culture of learning, assess gaps, and consult to deliver creative training solutions to support operational performance and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Design and deliver various programs, with experience managing and scaling complex, cross-functional projects.
- Communicate and influence a variety of organizational leaders and provide updates on learning strategy, projects, and budgets.
- Develop innovative and engaging learning programs, incorporating a variety of delivery methods such as instructor - led training, e-learning modules, micro-learning, remote, and in-person.
- Establish and utilize key performance indicators ﴾KPIs﴿ and training metrics to measure the effectiveness of learning initiatives and track their impact on employee performance and productivity.
- Conduct regular ROI analyses to demonstrate the value of learning and development programs and make data‐driven recommendations for continuous improvement and resource allocation.
- Support the integration of learning & development initiatives with operational priorities.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, skill development, and knowledge sharing throughout the organization.
- Stay current on developments and innovations in training and education in the industry sector so the organization's training activities remain relevant.
- Support efforts to make learning programs accessible for a diverse workforce.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, or related field preferred.
- Professional qualifications in coaching or leadership development are a plus for this role.
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in human resources, training, learning and development, talent management, operations, operations management, or a related field.
- 5+ years direct people management experience and ability to lead a remote team.
- Experience in performance consulting in a distribution environment.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent leadership skills with a passion for employee engagement and developing a strong culture.
- Ability to independently manage multiple high scope complex projects while navigating through a matrixed organization.
- Strategic thinking, resourcefulness, and ability to 'connect the dots' with input from across the organization.
- Understanding of the organization's operational roadmap and how to strategically align work to drive operational goals.
- Collaboration skills, developing strong partnerships and integrating the diverse perspectives of business leaders and COE (Center of Excellence) partners.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of the impact of training on business performance.
- Knowledge of talent processes, succession planning and leadership assessments.
- Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on team and projects.
