* We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Federal Field CISO to lead our efforts in promoting cybersecurity solutions to the Federal Government. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies tailored to the unique needs of federal agencies, leveraging their deep understanding of cybersecurity, cloud architectures, and zero-trust networks. This role requires building and maintaining relationships with key government stakeholders, providing technical expertise during the pre-sales process, and ensuring that proposed solutions comply with federal cybersecurity regulations. The ideal candidate will combine strategic vision with practical experience in cybersecurity and will be adept at navigating the complexities of the federal IT landscape.
* What you will do:
* Develop comprehensive pre-sales security strategies tailored to the Federal Government's needs.
* Build and maintain relationships with key government stakeholders to understand their security needs and propose appropriate solutions.
* Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise and security solutions during the pre-sales process.
* Position security audits and assessments to help customers identify risks and formulate multi-year maturity strategies.
* Provide strategic advice on security best practices and potential security enhancements.
* Leverage broad IT knowledge to ensure cybersecurity solutions integrate effectively with existing infrastructure and applications. Identify opportunities for business development within the federal cybersecurity sector.
* Attend industry events and conferences to promote our cybersecurity solutions.
* Stay updated on the latest commercial and Federal industry trends, threats, and security technologies.
* What we expect from you:
* Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of experience in security strategy development and implementation, preferably within or supporting the Federal Government
* OR
* 14 years of experience in security strategy development and implementation, preferably within or supporting the Federal Government.
* Minimum of 2 years of Security experience with Google Cloud (GCP), and/or AWS/ Microsoft 365/Azure.
* Top Secret clearance with the ability to meet SCI requirements.
* Strong understanding of federal regulations related to cybersecurity.
* Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical staff.
* Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure, applications, operating systems, and high availability.
* Proven experience with zero-trust and cloud security architecture.
* Demonstrated ability to lead teams and work independently.
* Experience providing project oversight and technical leadership.
* Practical experience in security operations a plus.
* Practical experience in performing or managing security audits and assessments a plus
* Experience in selling enterprise security software solutions a plus.
* Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or similar certification a plus Pay range: $ 137,600- $ 172,000, depending on experience and skill set Annual bonus target of $35,000 subject to terms and conditions of plan Benefits overview: https://cdw.benefit-info.com/ Salary ranges may be subject to geographic differentials #LI-CM3
