UFP Concrete Forming Solutions is the leading supplier of lumber, plywood and value-add, custom formwork solutions to the concrete construction industry. Our team operates from a national network of manufacturing and distribution facilities located near every major metropolitan area.

We’re excited to announce a unique opportunity for an Entry-Level Design Specialist Intern. If you’re passionate about design, problem-solving, and contributing to the construction industry, this role could be the perfect fit!

Location: Berthoud, CO

What You'll Do:

  • Get hands-on experience designing concrete formwork (commercial, civil, precast, and tilt-up.
  • Work with cutting-edge software 3D AutoCAD and Revit to prepare bids, layouts, and engineered profiles.
  • Collaborate with experienced professionals in a supportive team environment to ensure customers' needs are met and design solutions are offered.
  • Develop your skills through paid, comprehensive training in Berthoud CO. 
  • Grow within the company, with opportunities for continued learning and advancement in the design and construction fields.
  • Build strong relationships with retail clients, builders, framers, and developers to answer design questions and deliver top-tier service.
  • Be part of a dynamic team that values creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education in drafting, CAD, Revit/BIM, construction, or framing is highly preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with strong mathematical and analytical skills – comfortable working with blueprints and calculating loads.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • A willingness to learn and grow within a supportive, collaborative team.
