The Senior Account Executive, Integrated Payments, is a vital role within the Merchant Services sales development and enablement team. The role is responsible for demonstrating sales success within Deluxe Merchant Services Direct and ISV partners’ client base. It’s a direct impact role and will be measured by ongoing success to drive sales, engagement, new customer pipeline and revenue growth.

Job Functions

  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements, including pricing and terms with clients to maximize profits.
  • Develop and assist with the implementation of effective sales strategies and identify and target potential clients through these same strategic sales techniques.
  • Track and manage your sales quota at team and individual contribution level monthly, quarterly and annually.
  • Liaise with internal teams such as customer care and support to ensure boarded and active clients experience a seamless end-to-end payment experience.
  • Collaborate with both our Marketing Team and the Partner Success Team to execute upon supportive marketing efforts and automated processes, communication cadences to ensure a fully engaged onboarding experience for new clients.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor’s and 3 years or HS/GED and 7 years 

  • 3 years’ experience in financial services, payments, banking or related field

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  •  4 years’ experience selling payment technology and or financial services or related field

Must be 18 years or older

Compensation

The compensation range for this position is $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 annually. This position will be eligible for commission or an annual performance incentive plan. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.
