Job Description: 

The Export Compliance Analyst is a member of Intel's Americas Export Controls & Sanctions Compliance (ECSC) team, reporting to the Americas Exports Controls Director. Leveraging experience in the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), the Export Compliance Analyst plays an important role in supporting Intel's export compliance program in the Americas region. The individual is passionate about export compliance and thrives in a dynamic environment. As a member of the Americas ECSC team, the Export Compliance Analyst will collaborate with other ECSC team members in Asia and Europe and interact with business leaders, industry and government officials, and Intel’s Product legal teams.

This role’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Monitor and analyze EAR and ITAR regulations and prepare impact assessments on Intel’s operations.
  • Analyze and assign ECCNs to goods, software, or technology, prepare export licenses for products and technology transfers, prepare and compile reports.
  • Collaborate with team members to design and document export control processes.
  • Develop and deliver export compliance trainings to business stakeholders.

As a successful candidate, you must possess:

  • Fast learner with strong analytical skills and results-oriented approach to mitigating compliance risks.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Effective communicator (oral and written) with track record of working across different business groups, such as Legal, Sales, Engineering, and IT.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel Immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience of 5+ years in Export Administration Regulations (EAR), including ECCN determination, license preparation, and developing compliance processes and controls and/ or in the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
  • Due to nature of work requiring access to export-controlled technology, must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. lawful permanent resident

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience:
  • With EAR CCL categories 3, 4, 5 and technology transfers.
  • Working knowledge of SAP/GTS, SNAP-R, and OCR.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:

$118,240.00-$166,920.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. * Job posting details (such as work model, location or time type) are subject to change.
