Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Configuration Manager to manage and maintain our complex IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our configuration management processes, working with key stakeholders and system owners to ensure all systems and applications are properly documented, configured and aligned with our business and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a configuration management process that meets our business needs and ensures compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Work with system owners to develop and maintain configuration documentation, including diagrams, flowcharts, and technical specifications
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure configuration management system is operating effectively and supportive of configuration management requirements and aligned with industry best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve configuration-related issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Provide leadership to the company on configuration management to includes maintaining knowledge of industry trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our configuration management system and processes
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree and 10 years relevant work experience in IT and configuration management or equivalent experience
- Proven understanding of configuration management principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Certification in configuration management and IT best practices, such as ITIL, ISO or NIST
- Experience managing configuration management databases
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $140690 - $239140
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
