THE ROLE – EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, VENUE MANAGEMENT

The EVP, Venue Management is an enterprise leader responsible for driving operational excellence, cultural alignment, and sustained financial performance across Legends Global’s North American portfolio of stadiums, arenas, convention centers, theaters, and attractions. Leading a complex, high-volume, multi-market platform, this executive establishes disciplined, scalable processes that ensure consistency, precision, and accountability in fast-paced, high-energy environments. With strong attention to detail and an enterprise mindset, the EVP leads, manages, and inspires General Managers and senior venue teams—building high-performing leaders and fostering a customer-centric culture that elevates the guest and partner experience at every touchpoint.

Serving as a trusted advisor to owners, municipalities, boards, and league partners, the EVP is both a culture champion and change maker—driving continuous improvement, strengthening client relationships, supporting new venue growth, and executing a value-creation strategy that reinforces Legends Global’s position as the premier partner to the world’s leading live events and brands.

WHAT YOU’LL DO (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)

Lead Strategy Across a World-Class Portfolio

  • Provide enterprise leadership across Legends Global’s North American venues, translating strategy into strong operational execution, financial performance, and sustainable growth.
  • Drive change and long-term value by aligning venue strategy with organizational priorities and evolving live experience trends.

Develop Leaders and Build High-Performing Teams

  • Coach and empower General Managers and senior leaders, setting clear expectations while building accountability, engagement, and leadership pipelines.
  • Foster a performance-driven culture grounded in collaboration, service excellence, and continuous development.

Deliver Operational Excellence and Exceptional Guest Experiences

  • Champion consistent standards for operations, safety, and compliance across the portfolio.
  • Elevate guest experiences through innovation, technology, and best-practice sharing that drives efficiency and differentiation.

Drive Financial Performance and Smart Investment

  • Partner with Finance and Development to lead budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and major projects with discipline and transparency.
  • Guide investment decisions to ensure meaningful returns and long-term portfolio value.

Support Growth and Portfolio Expansion

  • Play a key role in acquisitions, venue transitions, renewals, and integrations, accelerating portfolio growth.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities through creative partnerships and scalable business models.

Build Trusted External Partnerships

  • Serve as a senior advisor to owners, municipalities, boards, leagues, promoters, and partners—strengthening relationships and anticipating opportunities.
  • Represent Legends Global externally at industry events and forums.

Shape Culture Through Values-Based Leadership

  • Champion a culture rooted in integrity, inclusion, and respect, inspiring trust and shared success.
  • Collaborate closely with enterprise partners across Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Technology, HR, and beyond to deliver unified outcomes.

WHAT YOU BRING (QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE)

  • 15+ years of senior leadership experience in venue management, sports and entertainment, hospitality, or large-scale multi-unit operations.
  • Proven success leading geographically diverse portfolios, with direct oversight of General Managers or equivalent senior leaders.
  • A strong track record of driving growth, operational excellence, and value creation in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Deep financial and business acumen, including experience managing significant operating budgets and capital initiatives.
  • A collaborative, relationship-driven leadership style with experience partnering across public entities, private ownership groups, boards, and industry stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

LOCATION

COMPENSATION
