Executive Producer/Director of Keynote Strategy & Delivery, Global Events & Experiences

Position Overview

Are you a creative powerhouse with a passion for crafting unforgettable event experiences? Autodesk is seeking a dynamic Executive Producer/Director of Keynote Strategy & Delivery to join our Global Events & Experiences team. You’ll lead the charge on keynote strategy and stage production for our flagship events, bringing our vision to life on the mainstage and beyond, managing rehearsals, visual development, speakers, demos, luminary talent, executive communication, and lead a team of producers across our flagship events. This role requires collaborating with a range of internal stakeholders across product marketing, engineering, brand, comms, events, and sales to create compelling experiences that educate and inspire our audiences around the globe. The ideal candidate is an imaginative and detail-oriented strategic thinker with deep production and staging experience who thrives under the pressure of live production.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create the Magic: Drive the planning and execution of high-energy mainstage keynotes and audience/topic-specific general sessions.
  • Set the Standards: Drive production best practices across product marketing, comms, brand, engineering, sales, and events while supporting narrative development efforts with a core team of writers
  • Master the Details: Oversee all aspects of pre-event and on-site mainstage logistics, from rehearsals to AV setups, and keep things running smoothly so our team can focus on delivering a flawless experience.
  • Inspire & Influence: Lead strategic presentations to senior leadership, keeping them informed and engaged every step of the way. You’ll be the go-to person for anything and everything keynote-related.
  • Elevate the Experience: Leverage your experience, insights, and qualitative and quantitative analysis to shape innovative, cutting-edge experiences that resonate with our audience and contribute to a continuous cycle of improvement.
  • Build & Lead: Assemble and guide a high-performing team of producers. Your mentorship and expertise will empower them to deliver their best work.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Happy attendees and glowing feedback from both internal and external stakeholders, including customers and employees across all our flagship events.
  • Seamless, stress-free experiences for our key stakeholders.
  • Hitting financial and satisfaction targets while delivering exceptional quality and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10-15 years of experience producing mainstage events in the B2B tech world, especially high-stakes, high-energy environments, with a robust portfolio of real-world examples of impactful mainstage moments with established brands.
  • 5-7+ years leading a team of producers and agency partners
  • A deep understanding of live event production and incredible attention to detail. You dream in iMAG, you obsess over stage layouts and lighting systems. You thoroughly understand concept and narrative development, visual design, staging, and all aspects of production.
  • Excellent presentation and pitch skills—leading conversations to refine ideas, ability to take live feedback and rapidly prototype solutions. You know how to build relationships with senior executives and agency partners alike.
  • Strong leadership skills and a track record of successfully collaborating with a wide range of people across different disciplines and at different levels.
  • A can-do attitude and the ability to stay calm under pressure, juggling multiple projects with ease.
  • A passion for finding the best solutions—whether or not they’re your own ideas—and a collaborative approach to moving work forward.
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment. If challenges come up, you’re the one who meets them head-on.
  • A readiness to travel for events and conferences as needed.
