About the role

We are looking for an Executive Director, GA & Enrollment Firm Partnerships.

Responsible for maximizing the distribution of Trustmark Group Benefits through established and emerging General Agents (GA) and Enrollment Firms. Develop and execute strategic initiatives that differentiate Trustmark in the marketplace, optimize current revenue streams, and deliver innovative distribution solutions that drive holistic and incremental growth across GA and Enrollment Firm partnerships.
Develops and maintains effective relationships with leadership and sales teams across the country to retain and grow business through the current distribution channel. Trusted partner to senior management, key internal stakeholders, and external partners, serving as a strategic resource focused on revenue growth, channel development, and enterprise sales execution.

Key Accountabilities:


  • Manage the GA and Enrollment Firm channel with a clear understanding of strategic and financial impacts, including initial channel investments and desired engagement outcomes.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to strengthen distribution teams and enhance competitive positioning.
  • Create and execute national initiatives, business plans, and partnership strategies that support GA and Enrollment Firm revenue growth.
  • Provide strategic direction to distribution teams on GA, Enrollment Firm, and industry trends, including API, quoting, and integration capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities to drive significant membership and revenue growth with targeted GA and Enrollment Firm partners.
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, underwriting, finance, legal, and other cross-functional teams, to align objectives and enable sales organization priorities.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with executive leaders across GA and Enrollment Firm partnerships, serving as a trusted subject matter expert.

Minimum Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant experience in distribution, sales, partnerships, or a related field OR High School Diploma/GED and 15+ years of progressive experience.
  • Established experience working with General Agent and Enrollment firms.
  • Proven thought leader and ability to use data analytics to shape strategic initiatives.
  • Ability to influence across matrixed organizations and build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred:


  • Active Life and Health Insurance license.

The compensation range for this role is (based on the corporate location in Lake Forest, Illinois):

$136,933 - $204,463 per year

The final salary offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for bonus. We understand that compensation is an important factor when considering a new opportunity, and we strive to provide a competitive salary within the market.
