Start the Best Work of Your Career at Boom

At Boom, we’re building the world’s fastest airliner—and doing it with a tight-knit team of extraordinary people. To keep that team focused and flying fast, we need world-class operational support behind the scenes. That’s where you come in.

We’re looking for an Executive Assistant who’s more than a calendar wizard—someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, acts with precision and urgency, and brings calm to chaos. You’ll be the force multiplier behind our Product Marketing, Legal, and Finance teams, serving as a strategic partner to executive leaders and ensuring nothing stands in their way.

This is a role for someone who loves details, owns outcomes, and quietly powers big things behind the scenes.

Role Overview

  • Own daily executive support across multiple functions—calendars, meetings, travel, and expenses—handled seamlessly
  • Prioritize, protect, and maximize executive time by acting as a gatekeeper and trusted partner
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts, support key projects, and keep fast-moving teams aligned and on-track
  • Lead logistics for internal meetings and events, and assist with planning and communication for org-wide initiatives
  • Adapt in real-time, troubleshoot proactively, and bring both urgency and composure to everything you touch
  • Partner with other support team members and contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team culture
  • Pitch in on essential in-office needs—from stocking the kitchen and handling mail to supporting in-person events and keeping our space running smoothly

The Ideal Candidate

  • Has proven experience supporting senior leaders in high-stakes, high-performance environments
  • Thrives in ambiguity and knows how to create order from it
  • Balances exceptional attention to detail with sound judgment and big-picture awareness
  • Handles sensitive information with absolute discretion and professionalism
  • Communicates clearly, confidently, and with a touch of warmth
  • Is unflappable, resourceful, and endlessly proactive
  • Brings positive energy to every room—and lifts the people in it
  • Demonstrates the ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-moving, evolving workplace
  • Embraces the always-on rhythm of high-stakes work—stays plugged in, responsive, and ready to handle the unexpected, even outside of business hours. You're the calm voice when things go sideways

What Will Set You Apart

  • Experience supporting executives or multifunctional teams in a fast-moving, high growth environment
  • Background in event planning, internal communications, or team operations
  • A love of problem-solving and a talent for building better, faster, smarter ways to work
  • The mindset that no task is too small if it helps the mission succeed

Compensation

The Base Salary Range for this position is $63,000 - $80,000 per year. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Boom’s total rewards package for employees. Other rewards may include long term incentives/equity, a flexible PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.

There is no set deadline to apply for this job opportunity. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the search is no longer active.
