Your mission
  • As CoinTracker’s foundational events team member, you will fully own the end-to-end planning, logistics, and execution of high-impact external events - such as conferences, customer dinners, partner gatherings, and side events - to elevate CoinTracker’s presence in the crypto ecosystem through exceptional experiences and operational excellence.

Your one-year outcomes
  • Successfully lead planning and execution for 3 large-scale external conferences, delivering seamless experiences and achieving event-specific goals (e.g. booth presence, leadership dinners, side events, swag, brand visibility, partnerships).

  • Execute 6 medium-small scale external events (such as side-events, leadership dinners, or partnership activations at conferences) with operational excellence, staying on budget and maintaining high attendee satisfaction.

  • Create a repeatable events playbook, including vendor lists, timelines, checklists, and post-mortem templates to streamline future execution and scale CoinTracker’s external event presence.

What you will do
  • Plan and execute CoinTracker’s presence at crypto conferences such as Consensus, Token2049, and Digital Asset Summit - including booth logistics, side-events, and executive dinners that drive brand visibility and leads.

  • Partner with the Enterprise, Partnerships, Executive Business Partner, and Marketing teams to deliver high-impact activations and relationship-building events that convert into pipeline opportunities.

  • Build scalable event systems and operational processes - including vendor frameworks, budget tracking, timelines, and risk management templates - to ensure smooth execution and consistent ROI across all events.

    • 6 - 8 years of experience in event operations, logistics, or program management - preferably within tech, fintech, or crypto industries.

    • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute multiple mid-to-large-scale events end-to-end, including conferences, side-events, and executive dinners.

    • Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills; able to coordinate deliverables across multiple external partners and internal stakeholders.

    • Proven track record of operational excellence - building and maintaining event timelines, budget trackers, risk logs, and post-event retros with minimal oversight.

    • Communicates clearly and proactively with cross-functional partners (Marketing, Partnerships, Enterprise, Finance), ensuring visibility and accountability at every stage.

    • Demonstrates composure under pressure and sound judgment in fast-changing, high-stakes environments.

    • High EQ, with the ability to represent CoinTracker confidently to external partners and uphold brand standards.

    • Curious and growth-minded - seeks feedback, learns from retros, and continuously improves event systems and processes.

    • Works effectively in a remote, async environment and is available for in-person events multiple times per year, ideally working within Pacific or Mountain Time.

The starting salary for this position is between $129,600 - $144,000. The actual compensation offered will be based on a variety of job-related factors including relevant skills, education, and experience. This position also includes equity in CoinTracker and benefits like medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, and PTO.
