Location & Flexibility 

This role will have the option to be in a Work From Near (Hybrid) capacity based out of one of our offices OR in a Work From Anywhere (Remote) capacity with regular travel to events and TELUS Digital’s offices expected.

Travel (up to 25%) is required on an ad hoc basis.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and driven Event Marketing Manager to join the Fuel iX team at TELUS Digital. In this role, you will be responsible for strategizing and executing both in-person and virtual events that align with our company's goals and values. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our brand presence, driving prospect and customer engagement, and supporting our business objectives through innovative event marketing initiatives. You will have the opportunity to engage with not just the Fuel iX team, but also event marketing professionals across TELUS and TELUS Digital.

Responsibilities 
  • Own the scope of the events program to drive new leads, nurture existing ones, and bring our reach to dominate our category
  • Strategize, plan and execute both third-party and proprietary in-person events of all sizes, from trade shows to executive dinners
  • Lead virtual/digital event execution, including webinars and other digital experiences that engage our target audience effectively
  • Create and manage special projects focused on driving conversion, such as workshops and educational events for trial and paying customers
  • Collaborate closely with the content, growth, and product marketing team, and with cross-functional teams across TELUS Digital and all TELUS companies to ensure seamless event execution and integration with overall marketing strategies
  • Analyze event performance metrics and provide insights to continuously improve event strategies and ROI
  • Manage event budgets, vendor relationships and logistics to ensure successful event delivery within allocated resources
  • Manage the SWAG program for Fuel iX
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in event marketing
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners and industry influencers to enhance event participation and impact
  • Build and maintain an inventory of promotional materials (swag) available to team members to leverage at in-person events, and manage special orders as needed
Qualifications 
  • 5+ years of experience of planning and executing in-person and virtual events at large B2B technology companies
  • Track record of planning and executing large-scale events and integrated campaigns
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proficiency in event management software and marketing technology
  • Experience with a project management system such as ClickUp, Monday.com, Asana, or Trello
  • Experience with budget management and vendor negotiations
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated passion for and eagerness to learn about generative AI and its impact on enterprise productivity and agility
  • Certification in event planning or project management preferred (e.g., CMP, PMP)Knowledge of and experience in marketing generative AI technologies

Annual Base Salary Range (Annual Bonus Eligible)

$96,000 - $120,000 USD


Annual Performance Bonus

This position is eligible for an annual performance bonus based on personal, division/business unit, and company performance. The range displayed is only the annual base salary. To maintain equity across the business, annual performance bonus targets are determined by job level, not individual circumstances.

Individual base salaries are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons determined during the interview process. Salary bands are periodically reviewed and updated based on market changes, internal needs, and industry trends. To maintain pay equity for team members, TELUS Digital conducts regular compensation audits.
