This role will drive system and process alignment across shipping, delivery, government sell-off, and transportation planning, ensuring compliant and efficient execution for both commercial and defense programs.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned SAP functional analyst who understands the full logistics lifecycle — from goods issue through customer receipt — and can independently deliver functional design, configuration guidance, and integration support across TM, LE, and adjacent systems.

Key Responsibilities

·  Serve as the functional lead for SAP Transportation Management (TM) and Logistics Execution (LE) within Production Operations.

·  Design and configure solutions to support domestic, export, and defense logistics flows, including DD250 and government sell-off integration.

·  Partner with the Customer Sell-Off / DD250, Warehouse Management (EWM), and Integrated Manufacturing Master Data (IMMD) teams to align data and process handoffs.

·  Support configuration and process optimization for freight planning, shipment execution, route determination, and goods issue posting.

·  Coordinate integration between TM, LE, and external carriers or freight forwarders, ensuring compliant documentation and tracking.

·  Drive requirements management through Jira and Focused Build, maintaining clear traceability between business needs and system design.

·  Participate in functional design reviews, testing, and release readiness activities.

·  Collaborate with Export Compliance, Government Property, and Quality Assurance to ensure regulatory and contractual adherence.

·  Provide leadership and mentorship within the logistics systems domain.

Basic Qualifications

·  U.S. Citizenship required due to access to defense-controlled information.

·  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field.

·  Minimum 5 years of experience as an SAP functional analyst or IT business analyst supporting Transportation Management (TM) or Logistics Execution (LE) in an aerospace, defense, or complex manufacturing environment.

·  Strong understanding of freight order management, shipment planning, delivery processing, and goods movement integration.

·  Proven experience integrating TM/LE with Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and Production Operations.

·  Demonstrated ability to independently lead cross-functional design and integration efforts.

·  Experience with Jira and SAP Focused Build for managing requirements, backlog, and sprint execution.

Desired Skills
  • Familiarity with Government Sell-Off (DD250) and DCMA shipping documentation.
  • Understanding of SAP Event Management, Global Trade Services (GTS), and Export Compliance workflows.
  • Experience with carrier integration, EDI, and shipment tracking solutions.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a high-visibility, fast-paced production environment.
