Schedule Details/Additional Information:
0800 - 1430 Monday - Friday
Major Responsibilities:
- Provides guidance and instruction to contracted services; performs quality assurance inspections and follows-up on service concerns.
- Conducts scheduled (monthly or quarterly) performance review meetings with contracted vendors.
- Coordinates with Strategic Sourcing and serves as communication lead for new construction, remodeling and vendor changes.
- Communicates with site leaders, physicians and staff to ensure a clean atmosphere for patients, visitors and staff.
- Oversees procure to pay processes for supplies and supply inventories of chemicals, hand hygiene products and other disposable products and supplies.
- Remains knowledgeable of all Aurora Health Care Environmental Services procedures and standards.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
- A valid drivers license issued by the Division of Motor Vehicles.
Education Required:
- High School Graduate.
Experience Required:
- Typically requires 5 years of experience in environmental services which includes experience performing healthcare inspections.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Ability to use basic software including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Knowledge of safe chemical handling and use.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper floor care, carpet textiles, upholstery fabrics, wall and floor coverings, wood and synthetic finishes and proper dispenser use and maintenance of power equipment such as automatic scrubbers, carpet shampooers, etc.
- Demonstrated coordination and organizational skills such as delegation, managing multiple priorities, problem solving, and decision making.
- Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Exposed to a normal office environment.
- Must have ability to wear protective clothing as may be exposed to strong germicidal solutions, cleaning chemicals, temperature changes, soiled linen, infectious waste (blood and body fluids).

Pay Range
$22.50 - $33.75
