Job DescriptionLink Solutions is seeking an Enterprise Systems Administration & Storage Functional Manager to join our team at White Sands Missile Range.

- DoD Secret Clearance required
- Non-remote (relocation incentive available)
The Enterprise Systems Administration & Storage Functional Manager will lead system administration technical support services for Army customer networks, ensuring highly efficient and effective system monitoring and management through the use of automation. The support duties may include, but are not limited to, addressing technical issues concerning enterprise solutions across Army networks for activities related to system administration.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assigns personnel to various projects, directs their activities, and evaluates their work.
- Ensures long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization.
- Responsible for the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer software. Implements operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system
- Operate, monitor, sustain, and secure managed devices at each JRSS Army Enterprise network site.
- Provide support for router operations for routing devices within the Army JRSS boundary.
- Develop scripts and utilities for routine task automation and connection to software Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) within the Army JRSS boundary.
- Operate, monitor, sustain, and secure Army JRSS Security Systems, which include the IPS/IDS, firewall, proxy, and routers.
- Update existing toolset displays and dashboards, as needed, to meet the customer's requirements.
- Develop and maintain the knowledge and lessons learned repository of TTPs, migration documentation, change requests, product updates, architecture diagrams, and all daily/weekly/monthly reports.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- Ten (10+) years of experience.
- MS degree or BS Degree with two (+2) years in Information Technology, or a similar field.
- IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, etc.).
- Experience with Windows Server, MCEM, MAC OS, RHEL, RedHat Enterprise Virtualization Hypervisor, KVM, Puppet, Patch, PowerShell, WSUS, and Release, STIG, Storage, Backup and restore.
Preferred:
- Working knowledge and understanding of Enterprise network functionalities, Enterprise Army DoDIN/O&M/CND tools, procedures, and operational constructs to include Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)-based business processes.
- Expert understanding of Host-Based Security System
- Senior-level expertise in configuring server hardware and OS software, as well as installing new software
- Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, and Risk Management Framework (RMF) expertise and experience
- Excellent working knowledge of Windows Domains, Active Directory, DNS, and Database
- Extensive experience using OS imaging and virtualization software
- Public Key Infrastructure (PKI); CAC/Token integration experience
- Experience with VMware vSphere ESXi 5.x - (Networking, virtual switches, and virtual distributed switches); vCenter Server 5.x; and VMware vSphere Storage Appliance (VSA)
- Working knowledge of Army or DoD Information Management and Security processes and procedures
