Job Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Account Executive that has a strong sales track record in the technology sector developing, qualifying, and closing new business SaaS deals. As a Relay Account Executive, you will build Relay’s pipeline, drive revenue, and ensure long-term success in the vertical. Additionally, you will:

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close and drive new business sales in one of our verticals
  • Establish and navigate relationships with senior executives and decision-makers
  • Command, report, and forecast sales activity
  • Generate scalable revenue and hit target quota on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Foster new relationships for Relay through your own outbound efforts and with the help of our BDR ream
  • Target account selling (prospecting/lead generation, qualification, and scoping, closing strategies, negotiations, etc.)
  • Collaborate with Relay’s marketing team to develop and execute demand generation campaigns
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Relay’s product and pricing
  • Join sales and marketing members at industry events and roadshows

  • Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills
  • Knowledge of how to meet ambitious individual and team-wide sales quotas

Relevant Experience

  • Proven work experience as an Account Executive or relevant role
  • 8-10+ years as a sales hunter with relevant enterprise SaaS experience
  • Deep discovery skills – knowing how to ask the questions to get to the needs
  • Proven history of exceptional quota attainment
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organizations, including executive and C-level
  • A track record of successful enterprise software sales to multiple industries
  • Familiarity with customer experience management solutions, customer journeys, and customer satisfaction survey technologies (e.g. Net Promoter Score)
  • Salesforce.com experience
  • Experience managing a pipeline and closing SaaS contracts
  • Experience in the consulting industry, or in an analytical, consultative role
  • Experience in one of our core verticals (healthcare, financial services)
  • SaaS, B2B2C experience, is a plus
