IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE
Are you passionate about turning risk frameworks into strategic advantage? In this role, you’ll lead the evolution of BECU’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program — with a special focus on our best-in-class Archer GRC platform. You’ll act as a trusted advisor across the credit union, guiding business leaders on how to transform risk oversight into scalable, automated solutions. Your work will help protect what matters most — our members, our mission, and our future.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Own and Evolve Our GRC Program: Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of BECU’s Governance, Risk, and Compliance program — with a focus on the Archer platform.
Drive Strategic Roadmaps: Build and manage the GRC use case roadmap, partner across departments to capture business needs, and align development with long-term risk goals.
Deliver Risk Automation: Lead the development and rollout of Archer use cases — gathering requirements, configuring solutions, testing, launching, and monitoring ongoing adoption.
Lead with Influence: Guide cross-functional risk initiatives by acting as a thought partner and advisor to senior leaders across operations, audit, compliance, cybersecurity, and vendor management.
Advance ERM Maturity: Help build out risk measurement, prioritization, and mitigation tools — contributing to how BECU identifies, aggregates, and reports enterprise risk.
Mentor and Elevate Others: Support peer learning and help build broader GRC expertise across the team.
Governance and Reporting: Prepare enterprise-level reporting for internal stakeholders, board committees, and regulators; manage timelines for regulatory and internal audit response.
This isn’t just about ticking off tasks on a list. It's about making a significant, positive change in BECU’s journey, where your contributions are valued, and your growth is continually fostered.
