PAY RANGE
The Target Pay Range for this position is $156,200.00-$190,800.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $121,200.00 - $225,800.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. To join our dynamic team, we require candidates to be residents of WA, CA, VA, NC, OR, ID, AZ, TX, GA, or SC. If you’re located in Washington state and within a reasonable driving distance from Tukwila, we are requesting that you come into our HQ on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. For those candidates that live outside the commute distance of TFC and in any of our approved remote work locations, this role will be remote. IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE
As an Enterprise Program Manager at BECU, you’ll lead complex enterprise programs that drive strategic transformation across Technology and the business. You’ll oversee multiple interconnected initiatives, guiding cross-functional teams through delivery while ensuring alignment with enterprise goals, governance expectations, and member impact. In this role, you’ll help navigate organizational complexity, remove barriers to execution, and create scalable delivery practices that support long-term operational success. Your ability to balance Agile delivery with enterprise governance will help teams move efficiently while maintaining accountability, transparency, and business value. This is an opportunity to influence enterprise-wide outcomes while partnering with leaders across Technology, Risk, Compliance, Architecture, Product, and Operations.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Design and Automate Scalable Data Solutions: Build and optimize SQL • Lead Complex Enterprise Programs: Drive large-scale enterprise programs across multiple teams, business units, and strategic initiatives while ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and business objectives.
Drive Program Execution: Oversee program delivery from initiation through closure by coordinating planning, execution, implementation, and operational readiness across interconnected workstreams.
Balance Governance & Agile Delivery: Navigate enterprise governance requirements while enabling Agile, adaptive, and iterative delivery practices that keep teams moving effectively.
Partner Across Technology & Business Teams: Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Engineering, Architecture, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Technology, and business stakeholders to support enterprise delivery success.
Manage Enterprise Communication: Provide clear and proactive communication to leadership teams and stakeholders regarding delivery milestones, risks, dependencies, timelines, and strategic impacts.
Serve as an Escalation Leader: Resolve complex delivery challenges by removing roadblocks, facilitating decision-making, and driving alignment across cross-functional teams.
Manage Program Financials & Resources: Coordinate program budgets, forecasting, staffing strategies, resource planning, and delivery timelines across multiple concurrent initiatives.
Lead Dependency & Risk Management: Identify, manage, and mitigate enterprise-level risks, dependencies, issues, and decisions while helping teams navigate operational and delivery challenges.
Ensure Audit & Governance Readiness: Maintain accurate program documentation, governance standards, reporting practices, and audit readiness requirements throughout the program lifecycle.
Oversee Release Readiness: Coordinate release planning, go-live activities, operational transitions, and post-implementation support to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
Improve Enterprise Delivery Practices: Identify opportunities to strengthen delivery methodologies, operational workflows, governance processes, and enterprise execution standards.
Influence Organizational Change: Support enterprise transformation initiatives by driving process improvements and helping teams adapt to evolving business and technology needs.
Coach & Mentor Others: Provide mentorship, guidance, and development support to project managers and delivery team members while fostering accountability and collaboration.
Lead Through Complexity: Navigate competing priorities, organizational ambiguity, and enterprise challenges while maintaining focus on business outcomes, execution quality, and delivery timelines.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in business or computer science or equivalent work or educational experience required.
Minimum 10 years of experience managing enterprise programs and/or projects required, including experience leading Technology and enterprise-wide initiatives, improving interdepartmental processes and engineering workflows, and mentoring team members on delivery practices, operational approaches, and process improvements.
Experience leading teams and managing delivery across both Agile and Waterfall environments required, including providing performance feedback, workload management guidance, and driving successful execution of multiple technical and business-related initiatives through strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with industry standard project management software tools required.
Active involvement in professional organizations pertaining to organization change, technology management, program management and community impact preferred.
Desired Qualifications
Advanced degree preferred.
Professional project management certifications (e.g. Project Management Professional, Project Management Certification) preferred.
Agile certifications and/or relevant education preferred. (E.g. Certified Scrum Master, Agile Certified Practitioner) preferred.
