The Enterprise eCommerce Strategist, Lead owns the Digital eCommerce strategy and growth for RevolutionParts' largest enterprise accounts. This role partners with a Strategic Account Manager (SAM), personally accountable for all digital media efforts across two flagship clients. This role acts as the strategic business partner on these clients digital marking efforts— setting the growth strategy, building the plan and budget, and orchestrating our internal agency resources to execute it and hit targets. This is a senior, hands-on role responsible for delivery: making sure the right work gets scoped, prioritized, and shipped across the agency team, and that each account is tracking to its revenue and profitability goals. The ability to influence is paramount, given the large number of internal and external stakeholders.
This role owns a dedicated book of two enterprise accounts.
- Lead relationships: While working with internal resources (SAMs, PMs, etc) you will be accountable to digital media outcomes and leading the relationships with external stakeholders connected to these outcomes. This will include leading calls, creating weekly/monthly/quarterly content and executing on ad hoc requests.
- Influence: You'll work across a matrixed org, multiple internal and external touchpoints, without always holding sole accountability for the outcome. You need to show you can drive it forward anyway.
- Account strategy: Own the eCommerce growth strategy for two flagship enterprise clients, serving as their primary strategic advisor and business partner.
- Planning & budgets: Build annual and quarterly business plans and budgets across revenue, gross margin, product mix, and marketing mix — tracking actuals against plan and course-correcting to stay on target.
- Delivery & project management: Direct and coordinate internal agency resources (merchandising, digital marketing, creative, site/product) to execute the plan — working with project management to complete the work end-to-end so it ships on time and on scope.
- Forecasting & reporting: Maintain a regular forecasting and reporting cadence — weekly pacing against target, monthly performance reviews, and quarterly business reviews (QBRs) — reporting account performance, risks, and outlook to the VP, eCommerce and to clients.
- Expanding services: Identify and drive opportunities to expand the scope of services within each account — surfacing new growth initiatives, building the case for additional programs, and partnering on scope/SOW expansion to grow agency revenue share.
- Escalation & account health: Serve as the escalation point for the accounts they own — proactively managing account health, resolving delivery or client issues, and pulling in the right internal resources to keep the relationship and the numbers on track.
- Refining playbooks: Continuously refine and improve the strategist playbooks, processes, and standards used to run enterprise accounts — capturing what works and raising the quality bar for how we deliver.
