🐶 Our mission

Every pet deserves the care they need. Inflation and economic pressures have made vet bills harder to afford – and we’re fixing that, one clinic at a time.

🚀 The opportunity

Snout is a venture-backed startup growing like a rocket ship – and we’re just getting started with our first Enterprise Account Manager hire based at our headquarters in Troy, Michigan. You'll be instrumental in building out our corporate sales account base where every corporate veterinary group in the USA is fair game, and the opportunity is exponential. You’ll work side by side with our executive team to bring Snout to more clinics (and more pets) across the country.

💻 The role

As Snout's first Enterprise Account Manager, you’ll lead the charge on corporate sales – building relationships, and helping large groups roll out Snout by managing pilot programs and projects. You’ll have full support from our executive team in a fast-moving, startup environment.

This is your opportunity to trail blaze in a role by having a nationwide territory with endless upside. You'll also have plenty of room to make the role your own by shaping what our corporate sales process looks like. Additionally, you'll get to do work that actually matters by helping pets get the care they deserve.

If you’re interested in working in a sales operations capacity, this role is for you!

Snout is committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. We know that great candidates may not check every box — and that’s okay. If you're excited about this role and our mission, we encourage you to apply if you meet at least 75% of “what we’re looking for.” If you need any accommodations during the application or interview process, please let us know — we’re happy to support you.

🛠 What you’ll do

  • Identify and research potential corporate clients, build pipeline through outbound outreach, network, and qualify leads to determine fit and decision-making authority
  • Keep deals moving along
  • Track every existing pilot and expansion
  • Briefing the COO ahead of every call and meeting
  • Turning pilots into larger opportunities
  • Ensuring Snout is present in every conversation
  • Relationship building, discovery, presentations and consultative selling

💡What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of sales or account management experience, especially with large, complex accounts or deals (not SMB only)
  • Experience working or networking with, or targeting C-level and Director stakeholders or decision makers
  • Confidence talking to executives and moving deals forward up until the closing and negotiation stage
  • A passion for solving problems and ability to succinctly communicate solutions
  • Someone who is super organized and process-driven
  • Ability to manage projects and operate leanly
  • Someone based in the Metro Detroit Area and able to work from our Troy, Michigan office
  • Flexibility to travel to meet with corporate clients or booth at trade shows and conferences as needed

🌟 What will make you stand out

  • Experience in the Animal Health or Veterinary Medicine space
  • A desire to join a small and passionate team making a real difference in veterinary care

💖 Why you should join Snout

  • Fast growing, venture capital backed technology company focused on improving access to veterinary care
  • Ability to have a meaningful impact from Day 1, where your voice and opinion matters
  • Unlimited potential to grow in your career, learn and expand your skillsets
  • Collaborative, flexible, and friendly culture

❌ Why this role might not be a fit for you

  • A fast-moving, startup culture feels overwhelming to you and you aren't comfortable with ambiguity and figuring things out as you go
  • You aren't comfortable communicating with and managing multiple stakeholders and C-suite executives
  • You don't enjoy project management at scale
  • You're not open to feedback or coaching on your approach
  • You’re not motivated by making commission

💸 Compensation

  • $90 000 - $100 000 base salary / $150 000+ OTE
  • Commission plan (~$50 000+ in expected, uncapped commission)

⚕️Benefits

  • Day 1 medical/dental/vision benefits
  • Flexible time off + 11 Snout calendar holidays
  • Paid parental leave
