Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Enterprise Account Director (EAD) to join our high-performing Enterprise Sales team.  This is a senior, high-visibility role responsible for broadening and deepening strategic relationships across the C-suite and senior leadership levels of the largest public and private automotive retailers in North America.  The EAD plays a critical role in driving customer value and revenue growth through a consultative approach and a deep understanding of CDK’s expansive SaaS portfolio.

Success in this role requires exceptional executive presence, a “white-glove” client support mindset, and the ability to navigate and influence both customer and internal executive stakeholders. The EAD must partner closely with senior leaders across CDK to align enterprise-level solutions with client goals and drive long-term growth.

he EAD role is first and foremost an individual contributor role.  That said, as EAD you will also work as a team, leading an aligned Enterprise Account Executive (EAE), setting strategy and guiding execution to exceed sales targets and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction. This position reports to the Head of Enterprise Sales and involves regular travel.

Remote/Home office based: Located near hub airport preferred as national travel is required.

Position Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and high level of personal accountability

  • Thrive in a competitive, high-performance environment

  • Operate effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team

  • Lead and coach an Enterprise Account Executive to drive team success

  • Partner across functions to align strategies and execution

  • Possess strong technical aptitude and business acumen

  • Communicate and present effectively with stakeholders at all levels

  • Deliver compelling presentations and close complex deals

  • Introduce and position new product concepts to key decision-makers

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans for assigned accounts or territories

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • 5+ years of proven success in B2B technology sales working with large accounts

  • Demonstrated ability to build broad, consultative relationships with senior leadership and the C-suite

  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and sales skills

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% (via plane)

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of the automotive retail industry

  • Experience with CDK products and solutions

  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills

  • Excellent time management and leadership capabilities

Education/Experience

Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

  • 5–7 years of experience in outside, B2B sales

Preferred:

  • Deep understanding of the automotive retail industry

  • 10+ years selling B2B technology or software within the automotive vertical

Salary = $145,000 + Commissions

CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location.  The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.We offer Medical, dental, and vision benefits in addition to:
