About the roleBloom Growth is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of software engineers responsible for building the core capabilities of our Growth Operating System. This leader will ensure that engineers are supported, aligned, and delivering high-quality software using iterative and incremental development practices. The Engineering Manager will bring strong technical leadership, people development skills, and modern engineering practices—especially AI-enabled workflows—to help Bloom deliver reliable, scalable SaaS products that empower entrepreneurial organizations.

What you'll do- Lead, manage, and develop engineers by setting clear expectations, providing coaching, and supporting long-term career growth
- Build a high-performing engineering team by attracting and retaining strong technical talent
- Partner with Product Owners to turn customer and business needs into actionable engineering work and deliver high-quality outcomes
- Guide day-to-day execution of iterative and incremental software development using agile methodologies
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate delivery, enhance engineering workflows, and increase team effectiveness
- Identify and resolve risks, issues, and dependencies that affect engineering throughput and product delivery
- Maintain a strong focus on code quality, system reliability, scalability, and maintainability
- Champion agile and DevOps practices to improve reliability, automation, and deployment speed
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and operational excellence
- Facilitate strong communication and alignment across engineering, product, and other cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 2+ years of experience in an engineering management role
- 5+ years of experience developing and delivering software products iteratively and incrementally
- Experience working in SaaS or B2B software environments
- Experience participating in and supporting technical architecture or design discussions
- Experience with AI development tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead and collaborate effectively in a fully remote environment
- Strong critical thinking, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
- Experience developing client-facing AI features or capabilities
- Experience building software for small or medium-sized businesses (SMBs)
- Agile or project management certification (e.g., CSM, CSPO, PMP)
- Experience collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Customer-facing teams
- Experience with modern cloud platforms and DevOps tooling
The expected base salary range for this role is $135,000–$175,000 USD, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location. Bloom Growth™ follows an equitable, market-aligned compensation philosophy to ensure fairness and consistency across our fully remote team.
