- Instrumenting the Cloudflare Product: Can we provide product teams with a powerful platform to gather exceptional user data? How do we maintain a tech stack and data architecture that empowers rather than restricts innovation in analytics? How do we manage contention such that it is possible for a growing organization to contribute to this mission together?
- Building a Data Pipeline for Product Analytics and Billing Data: How can we effectively build and manage a robust data pipeline that supports both product analytics and billing data, providing actionable insights for various stakeholders? How do we measure this progress and make decisions when tradeoffs need to be made? How do we enable stakeholders from outside of the product and engineering organizations to contribute to this mission across all of Cloudflare's web properties?
- Managing Data Quality and Governance: Can we effectively manage cost drivers like data storage and processing while ensuring we're maintaining high data quality and adherence to governance policies?
- Serving Diverse Internal Customer Needs: For internal customers who primarily interact through data dashboards or custom reports, how can we meet their needs without compromising innovation velocity?

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in leadership roles focusing on data or analytics.
- Demonstrated excellence in building and maintaining data pipelines for product analytics or billing in an enterprise setting.
- Proven track record of driving organizational excellence and making tough decisions when necessary.

- For New York City, Washington, Washington D.C. and California (excluding Bay Area) based hires: Estimated annual salary of $213,000 - $261,000
- For Colorado based hires: Estimated annual salary of $191,000 - $233,000
