Company Overview:

Blink Health is the fastest growing healthcare technology company that builds products to make prescriptions accessible and affordable to everybody.  Our two primary products – BlinkRx and Quick Save – remove traditional roadblocks within the current prescription supply chain, resulting in better access to critical medications and improved health outcomes for patients.

BlinkRx is the world’s first pharma-to-patient cloud that offers a digital concierge service for patients who are prescribed branded medications. Patients benefit from transparent low prices, free home delivery, and world-class support on this first-of-its-kind centralized platform. With BlinkRx, never again will a patient show up at the pharmacy only to discover that they can’t afford their medication, their doctor needs to fill out a form for them, or the pharmacy doesn’t have the medication in stock.

We are a highly collaborative team of builders and operators who invent new ways of working in an industry that historically has resisted innovation. Join us!

As an Engineering Manager at Blink Health you are respected by colleagues for your industry leadership experience, ability to inspire and attract key talent, passion for customers and track record of delivering high-quality products that delight customers.

In this role, your team will own core platforms powering Blink's mission to make prescription medications accessible and affordable for everyone. You will lead a team of software engineers responsible for creating and evolving underlying systems to scale with Blink's expected hypergrowth. You are passionate about building and reinforcing a modern engineering culture, one where AI-augmented development, experimentation, and technical innovation are part of how the team works every day, not afterthoughts. Your team is proud of what they ship because you've built a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and forward-thinking craft. You will define and drive a long-term roadmap for your team, and you will scale your leadership across multiple teams.

What You'll Do:

  • Disrupt and overhaul America’s healthcare industry by providing technical leadership to build, develop and scale proprietary Blink technology
  • Identify opportunity to create value through technology, and define technical vision for your team and the company
  • Become a domain expert on healthcare technology and products while obsessing about Blink customers
  • Inspire, recruit and drive career development for a team of high performing engineers
  • Develop a scalable, sustainable engineering culture to retain top talent

Who You Are:

  • A builder of high performing teams, known for attracting and developing engineers who are fluent in AI-augmented development practices
  • Equally comfortable in the weeds of software design and zoomed out on process, from contributing to architecture reviews to shaping how your team delivers
  • A product and platform thinker who has led teams through the full SDLC in rapid-growth environments, from roadmap vision through build, launch, and production operation
  • A natural collaborator who earns trust with cross-functional partners, including product, marketing, business, and operations
  • Genuinely invested in developing engineers as whole professionals, with examples of people whose technical depth and career trajectory you've meaningfully shaped
  • Fluent in modern infrastructure concepts including cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc), containerization, SOA architecture, and CI/CD
  • Opinionated about how AI coding tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude) and AI-assisted testing, code review, and documentation practices can accelerate engineering teams, and active in bringing that perspective to your team
  • Class-A communicator: curious, thoughtful, clear, and (mostly) correct

What You'll Need:

  • 7+ years professional experience in software development, including 2+ years in a people management role
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience with some of our tech stack, including Python, Django, AWS, Kubernetes and Linux and tools such as DataDog, Kibana, New Relic, and PagerDuty
  • Experience architecting and implementing high performance and large scale distributed systems
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate, adopt, and scale AI-assisted development tooling across an engineering team, with a point of view on where these tools accelerate velocity and where they require human judgment
  • Familiarity with LLM integration patterns, AI-powered product features, or ML platform infrastructure is a plus

Why Join Us:

It is rare to have a company that both deeply impacts its customers and is able to provide its services across a massive population.  At Blink, we have a huge impact on people when they are most vulnerable: at the intersection of their healthcare and finances. We are also the fastest growing healthcare company in the country and are driving that impact across millions of new patients every year.  Our business model not only helps people, but drives economics that allow us to build a generational company. We are a relentlessly learning, constantly curious, and aggressively collaborative cross-functional team dedicated to inventing new ways to improve the lives of our customers.

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity of all kinds. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.

Applicants who provide their phone number and consent to receive text messages may receive SMS or MMS updates from Blink Health regarding their application.
