This is a high-impact role designed for a multidisciplinary expert who possesses a deep mastery of RADAR Digital Signal Processing (DSP), algorithms, and hardware, and who is ready to transition from technical execution to strategic leadership.

What You'll Do:
On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site five days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.

Short Term Incentive: Subject to business performance and recommendations of management, this role may be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.

Full-Time Salary Range: $149603 - $254317

What You'll Do:
- Technical Leadership & Architecture:
- Multidisciplinary Integration: Lead and synchronize IPTs across RADAR, mechanical, electrical, software, firmware, and test engineering. You will be the primary authority on the interactions between these domains.
- Design Ownership: Drive and own complex trade studies to determine optimal system architectures, ensuring that every design decision is data-driven and aligned with mission utility.
- Concept Evolution: Develop the metrics and frameworks necessary to evaluate emerging concepts and translate them into discriminating technologies for the customer.
- Process Innovation: Modernize and evolve the sector's technical processes and tools to increase engineering velocity and precision.
- Programmatic & Strategic Oversight:
- Customer Engagement: Partner directly with customers to define and refine Concept of Operations (CONOPS), ensuring the final product exceeds operational expectations.
- Supply Chain & Partner Management: Provide rigorous technical and contractual oversight of subcontract partners, monitoring performance to ensure seamless integration into the broader system.
- Execution Excellence: Manage scope, schedule, and technical risk to ensure the program meets all mission-critical milestones.
- Executive Reporting: Lead management reviews and provide critical life-cycle event reporting through portfolio leadership chains.
- Mentorship & Organizational Growth:
- Technical Stewardship: Mentor and coach senior and mid-level systems engineers in the art of mission systems engineering and architecture development.
- Professional Influence: Represent the organization in high-level presentations to peers, executive management, and external stakeholders.
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

- Work is performed in an office, laboratory, production floor, or cleanroom, outdoors or remote research environment.
- May occasionally work in production work centers where use of protective equipment and gear is required.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- BS degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field is required plus 10 or more years related experience.
- Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
- A current, active Secret security clearance is required with ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI.
- Deep technical proficiency in the design, implementation, and optimization of complex RADAR systems.
- Demonstrated mastery of the full systems engineering process, including:
- Development of Concept of Operations (CONOPS).
- Requirement derivation, allocation, and management.
- Rigorous Verification and Validation (V&V) and change management.
- Proven experience leading all phases of hardware program execution, from initial planning and design reviews through manufacturing, assembly, integration, testing, and final operational sell-off.
- Extensive knowledge of mission sets and core technology areas with a proven track record of maintaining established relationships with key personnel within the customer community.
- Ability to define and refine internal processes and procedures to align with customer needs, including the development and delivery of training to ensure team alignment with standard operating procedures.
- A demonstrated ability to foster a culture of high-performance collaboration across internal teams, external partners, and customer organizations.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with documented experience delivering technical briefings and strategic recommendations to senior decision-makers and technical audiences.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Advanced Academic Foundation: A Master's or PhD in Physics, Systems Engineering, or a related STEM field is highly desirable, bringing a strong theoretical foundation to the design and optimization of complex RADAR systems.
