As our Compliance Solutions Engineer, you will leverage Microsoft Power Platform and Copilot Studio to design, build, and integrate low-code applications, automated workflows, and AI agents that streamline compliance and internal audit processes. You’ll embed Copilot agents within Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and Dataverse solutions to drive intelligent guidance, narrative generation, and anomaly detection.

Essential Job Functions

Copilot Studio & AI Agent Integration
- Design, configure, and deploy Copilot Studio agents tailored for compliance and audit workflows.
- Embed AI-driven prompts and narrative generation within Power Apps and Power Automate to assist users with compliance assessments, control testing, and exception analysis.
- Manage and update Copilot agent knowledge bases, ensuring up-to-date policy and procedural content.
Power Platform Development
- Build and maintain Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps to digitize control tests, evidence collection, and remediation workflows.
- Develop Power Automate flows for automated notifications, task assignments, and data synchronization across systems.
SQL-based Data Extraction & Reporting
- Write complex SQL queries (joins, window functions, stored procedures) to extract and aggregate data from Azure Databricks–powered data sources.
- Create and maintain SQL-based views or scripts to feed reports and dashboard data.
- Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to validate extracts and optimize query performance
Reporting & Visualization
- Develop Power BI dashboards and paginated reports to visualize compliance metrics (policy exceptions, audit findings, remediation statuses).
- Embed analytic visuals directly within Power Apps for real-time, in-context insights.
Governance & Best Practices
- Ensure all solutions comply with security, access-control, and data-privacy standards (HIPAA, SOX).
- Document design specs, data models, flow logic, and change-management procedures.
Collaboration & Enablement
- Engage with audit and compliance stakeholders to gather requirements and refine prototypes.
- Train teams on using Copilot-enhanced Power Apps, Power Automate, and basic SQL querying for self-service analytics.
Compliance Investigations Support
- Build, maintain, and enhance tools for case tracking, evidence collection, and documentation management for compliance investigations.
- Automate notification and workflow processes related to investigation milestones and deadlines.
- Provide analytics and reporting to identify trends and support root cause analysis for investigations.
- Support the design of secure, role-based access and confidentiality controls for sensitive investigation data
Compliance & Internal Audit Support
- Partner with Compliance & Internal Audit teams to digitize and streamline risk assessments, control testing, audit planning, and follow-up workflows using Power Platform solutions.
- Develop and automate tools to monitor audit findings, remediation progress, and policy exception tracking.
- Deliver data extracts, analytic support, and on-demand reporting to facilitate audit engagements and regulatory reviews.
- Provide ongoing app maintenance, user support, and enhancements based on stakeholder feedback.

- This position pays between $101,600 - $152,400 based on experience
