Job Summary
Responsible for providing ASOG compliant, complex circuit design and provisioning, project management leadership and oversight of off-net Ethernet orders from completion of order entry to activation. Implements circuit requests in support of customer, orders include network fiber connectivity, offnet circuit orders, collocations, augments for space and power and various leased circuit orders utilizing various technologies for delivery of bandwidth. Provides first line vendor support regarding information contained in each order, communicates with internal departments to ensure order accuracy and management of escalations, and works with vendors and team to establish and achieve goals. Ensures project completion according to timeline, budget, and specifications. Has in-depth experience, knowledge, and skills in own discipline. Core Responsibilities
- Coordinate with National and Regional cross functional teams both direct and indirect to find least cost quickest access solutions.
- Establishes and manages to critical dates required for on time completion of off net network activations and evaluates impact of change to the overall project plan.
- Reviews contracts and validates services with vendors to ensure accuracy.
- Interprets Engineering specifications, understanding telephony and telecommunications and able to translates into ASOG ordering parameters.
- Understands and applies ASOG Standards for orders.
- Coordinate with various internal and third-party teams for preparation of ASR orders.
- Coordinates with subcontractors for site requirements and/or demark extensions as needed.
- Research supportive information critical for determining necessary data entry values required, facilitating accurate and expedient ASR ordering, while ensure circuits are order in most cost-efficient manner.
- Supports multi-location customers with multiple services at each location.
- May manage a moderate number of projects simultaneously.
- May interface with customers regarding their Ethernet and Advanced Voice products.
- May serve as primary contact with identified customer IT/technical personnel/vendor/VAR.
- Identifies and manages risks, issues and gaps that could impact project timelines and goals; develops, triggers, and manages mitigation plans.
- Prioritizes and drives cross-functional activities as related to the projects he/she is managing.
- Creates and/or updates network circuits in the Engineering database and updates and/or modifies circuit layout designs with IP assignments and CLLI codes.
- Evaluate and report critical issues to Supervisor/Manager - Circuit Ordering and Implementation that may jeopardize a customer launch.
- - Build and maintain positive relationships with 3rd party and Comcast personnel across all local markets and operations.
- Responsible for providing frequent and ad hoc status updates to management as directed as well as possibly taking 1st level escalations for overdue provisioning milestones on customer orders.
- Develops and manages communications, summary reports and status for various audiences; provides accurate project status information in the form of formal briefings, program/project coordination meetings, and written/graphical reports.
- Responsible for orders that require technical knowledge.
- Understands construction dependencies including fiber builds, structured cabling, permit dependencies, and right of entry.
- Mitigates additional costs by seeking circuit replacement (portability) efforts to reduce vendor costs that are passed onto Comcast.
- Maintains effective customer, business, and field relationships.
- Demonstrates ability to build teams, manage conflicts and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Demonstrates ability to make decisions, negotiate, and solve problems.
- Implements quality assurance practices to ensure quality handoffs between cross functional groups are successful.
- Navigates through multiple systems to track and monitor orders.
- Interfaces and collaborates with various levels of sales, operations, engineering, and other functional groups to ensure orders flow appropriately and accurately.
- Meets scorecard, productivity/quality metrics.
- Provides guidance to other team members on matters of process, procedure, and organizational compliance.
- proactively identifies opportunities for improvement in processes and procedures and recommends solutions.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications
- Demonstrates ability to make decisions, negotiate, and solve problems.
- Understands construction dependencies including fiber builds, structured cabling, permit dependencies, and right of entry.
- Knowledge of OSI Model layers 1, 2 and 3 with particular emphasis on SONET, DWDM, Telephony and IP
- High degree of computer literacy; proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications -- Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain consistent attention to detail.
- Ability to work with all levels of personnel from staff level to senior management and with customers, displaying tact and diplomacy.

Primary Location Pay Range: $78,474.00 - $117,711.00Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
