Energy Solutions is currently seeking a highly motivated, dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager based in the Western U.S. who excels in leading complex multi-state programs with precision, accountability, and strategic insight. This role requires a collaborative leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and consistently delivers high-quality outcomes meeting program goals within budget. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional team to deliver program energy savings goals on time within scope and budget.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure alignment, transparency, and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Actively engage with stakeholders to ensure program aligns with business goals and technical expertise.
  • Build strong relationships across teams, identifying gaps and proactively managing risks and dependencies.
  • Drive accountability and foster a culture of dependability, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Produce polished, high-impact deliverables that reflect deep understanding and thoughtful execution.
  • Identify opportunities, support company initiatives and be comfortable managing change.
  • Maintain a positive, solutions-oriented attitude that helps teams navigate challenges with confidence and clarity.
  • Demonstrate understanding of energy efficiency principles, including midstream and program technologies, including HVAC, lighting, and foodservice systems, as well as their applications in utility programs.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Overall direction, management, quality control and completion of program deliverables.
  • Developing and managing multiple complex program budgets and tasks with minimal oversight.
  • Communicating and presenting program progress to Senior Management and clients.
  • Interacting with clients, program participants, sub-contractors and program stakeholders.
  • Tracking utility and energy efficiency trends and other market changes in the heating and cooling and lighting industries.
  • Contribute to business development activities, such as leading proposal content development efforts.
  • Organizing and facilitating meetings, conference calls, and facilitated collaboration sessions.
  • Conducting program meetings, managing escalations and proactively resolving or bringing issues to senior management as needed.
  • Manage an interdisciplinary team to operate efficiently and deliver on program scope.
  • Collaborating with other West program managers on best practices for consistent, high quality program delivery.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Must be based in the Western states of the U.S., including the Pacific Northwest or Mountain West.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in energy, engineering, or environmental-related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, including partnership management and program design development.
  • Proven success managing energy efficiency programs and initiatives, including program launches.
  • Experience supporting business development.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, build morale, and foster collaboration.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, including risk management and mitigation.
  • Strong alignment with Energy Solutions values: excellence, accountability, collaboration, and proactiveness.
  • Experience supervising staff, mentoring junior team members, and delegating effectively.
  • Strong verbal communication, writing, data analysis, and presentation skills.
  • Strong client communication and relationship management skills.
  • Extensive experience using Microsoft Office tools (Office365, SharePoint, OneNote).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and communications with agility and focus.
  • Willingness to conduct occasional business travel.

Salary DOE: $92,000- $125,000 / Annually  with a target compensation of $92,000 - $106,250/ Annually based on experience and qualifications.

Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes a generous retirement package. Energy Solutions provides an excellent benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance, other pre-tax contribution plans and an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).

Office Locations and a Remote Workforce

Energy Solutions operates as a predominantly remote workforce with offices in  six different locations. Employees who reside within 40 miles of an office (except New York) will be assigned to that location, though in-office attendance requirements may vary by team.
