Energy Advisors act as specialists who help customers understand available upgrades, navigate incentives, and make informed decisions based on unbiased pros and cons.

In this role, you will deliver customer‑focused, phone‑based and email‑based advising, supporting single‑family homes and similar residential settings. This is a remote position, and you must be based in Denver, Colorado.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Provide individualized and ongoing assistance to property owners and contractors to support project conversion and contract compliance (approximately 60%).

  • Troubleshoot technical questions and provide guidance on installation requirements, adaptation, configuration, and enhancement in accordance with client specifications (10%).

  • Complete rebate processing, data entry, QA/QC support, and documentation review (15%).

  • Record customer and contractor interactions accurately to meet program tracking and reporting requirements (10%).

  • Travel occasionally within assigned areas for program needs (5%).

Key Skills:
  • Strong customer service background — call center or high‑volume communication experience is highly valuable.

  • Ability to explain technical topics clearly and simply.

  • Strong communication (phone + email), organization, and documentation skills.

  • Ability to use CRM systems (Salesforce preferred; Quickbase experience a plus).

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage a steady volume of customer interactions.

  • Comfortable working independently in a remote, phone‑based advising environment.

In this exciting career opportunity, you will have…
  • 1–2 years of relevant industry experience with a Bachelor’s degree, OR a combination of education, training, and work experience.

  • Technical, sales, and/or customer‑service experience (preferred).

  • Strong interest in residential energy efficiency, building‑science fundamentals, and customer education.

  • Ability to navigate CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) and standard digital communications.

  • A desire to help customers understand their energy usage and complete their upgrade projects successfully.
