Job Description

We're looking for a talented individual to…

Join CLEAResult as an Energy Advisor! This is a fully remote, phone- and email-based role supporting residential customers through their energy-efficiency projects. You'll guide homeowners and contractors from initial eligibility through paperwork, program qualifications, and project completion, helping customers understand available upgrades, navigate incentives, and process rebates accurately. This is a true entry-level role: no building-science background is required, we'll train you on the technical side. What matters most is a strong customer-service instinct and the ability to manage a steady, high volume of customer interactions independently.

 

You are a great fit if you can…

  • Provide individualized, ongoing support to property owners and contractors via phone and email to support project conversion and contract compliance.

  • Troubleshoot customer and contractor questions and provide guidance on program requirements.

  • Complete rebate processing, calculations, data entry, and QA/QC documentation review with strong attention to detail.

  • Accurately record customer and contractor interactions to meet program tracking and reporting requirements.

  • Travel occasionally for team events or program needs.

  • Manage a steady, high volume of customer interactions independently in a remote setting.

  • Communicate comfortably by both phone and email, balancing and prioritizing both throughout the day.

 

Exciting candidates will have…

  • 0-1 years of relevant experience; customer service or high-volume communication experience (e.g., call center) is highly valued

  • Comfortable navigating computer systems (ie Microsoft Office) and general technology is a must.

  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.

  • A genuine interest in energy efficiency, sustainability, or helping customers; no specific degree or major required.

  • Detail-oriented to resolve rebate and calculation issues.

Targeted Compensation:

$22/h

DOT Requirements

If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.

$19.55 - $27.25

Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
