As part of the North America Higher Education Sales Enablement team, the Enablement Manager, Product & Solutions enhances sales team performance by driving confidence in Cengage’s digital product suite—particularly Online Learning Platforms (OLPs)—through targeted training, sales tools, and driving enablement programs. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Sales Enablement, this role is responsible for designing and delivering resources and playbooks that accelerate product knowledge, support GTM execution, and increase seller confidence in positioning and closing product-led opportunities. This role partners closely with Product, Product Marketing, Sales Leadership, and fellow Enablement and Marketing stakeholders to build scalable, modern, enablement content and experiences that directly contribute to pipeline acceleration and revenue impact.

What you'll do here:

  • Develop and implement enablement programs, playbooks, and resources that support a product-led growth strategy.

  • Focus on building seller knowledge, readiness, and confidence for Cengage’s top-priority digital platforms and course solutions.

  • Partner with Product and Product Marketing to translate go-to-market strategies into practical sales learning content.

  • Collaborate with collaborators, customers, partners, and team members to craft tailored training paths, certifications, and resources for product positioning.

  • Own the delivery and maintenance of enablement tools, including vPlaybook plays, sales guides, and value messaging frameworks.

  • Define metrics to track sales confidence, usage of enablement tools, and proficiency progress in prioritized courses and fields.

  • Work across Product, Sales, GTM Strategy, and Marketing to align training efforts with growth priorities.

Skills you will need here:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, education, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in sales enablement, training, or product marketing, ideally in a B2B or edtech environment.

  • Solid grasp of sales processes, sales learning standard methodologies, and alignment with GTM strategy.

  • Experience crafting and managing sales playbooks, learning paths, product training, or enablement tools such as vPlaybook or LMS platforms.

  • Applied knowledge of common sales cycles, proficiencies, and processes.

  • Proven background coaching, mentoring, and leading training programs for sales teams.

  • Strong leadership, influence, project management, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to develop clear action plans and quality processes, in order to achieve desired results.

  • Successful track record working with diverse roles, at all levels across the organization.

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong presentation/facilitation skills.

  • Willingness to travel by car and by air as required for business purposes.

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location.  Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.

$58,300.00 - $70,000.00 USD
