The Employee Relations Partner is responsible for supporting a healthy and productive work environment by managing employee relations matters, conducting investigations, and advising on policy interpretation across the organization. This role provides case management, guidance, and support to managers and teammates on employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with policies and employment laws. The Employee Relations Partner will assist in investigations, documentation, and the implementation of ER programs and tools to promote a positive and compliant workplace.
Essential Job Functions- Serve as trusted advisor to managers, HRBP’s and employees on ER policies, procedures, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Independently manage employee relations cases including performance issues, disciplinary actions, investigations, and conflict resolution. Ensure thorough documentation and timely resolution.
- Partner with Legal on specific cases requiring review or escalation. Ensure alignment with legal guidance and contribute case insights to broader risk assessments.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of ER documentation, templates, and knowledge resources.
- Maintain accurate case records and contribute to ER reporting efforts. Identify patterns and flag emerging trends to the ER Lead for strategic review.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies in all ER activities.
- Ensure consistent interpretation and application of HR policies. Provide feedback to the ER Lead on policy gaps or areas for improvement.
- Support ER training initiatives and participate in continuous improvement efforts.
- Execute assigned involuntary separation cases with precision and professionalism, following established ER protocols.
- Prepare and review termination documentation, ensuring completeness and compliance with company standards.
- Provide direct support to managers during termination conversations, including logistics coordination and post-conversation follow-up.
- Collaborate with HRBPs to gather necessary context and ensure alignment on impacted employee selections.
- Maintain accurate records of separation cases in HR systems, ensuring confidentiality and data accuracy.
- Flag inconsistencies or potential compliance issues in separation packets for review by ER Leads or Sr. Manager.
- Participate in ER team meetings and contribute feedback to improve processes and enhance employee experience during transitions.

QualificationsEducation & Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- PHR certification or equivalent preferred.
- 4+ years of HR experience with a focus on employee relations or HR generalist responsibilities.
- Experience supporting workplace investigations and managing ER cases.
- Working knowledge of employment law and HR practices.
- Experience in a collaborative or matrixed environment is a plus.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.

- Comfortable with AI and emerging ER technologies
