About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and data-driven Email Marketing Manager to lead the development and optimization of our customer communications across the lifecycle. This role is responsible for shaping how we engage with customers through email, ensuring every interaction is timely, personalized, and enhances the overall brand experience.
This individual will bridge customer experience strategy and email execution, owning the end-to-end journey from inspiration to booking and beyond. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in email marketing with a strong understanding of customer behavior, lifecycle strategy, and storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Own Customer Journey & Experience: Lead the strategy and optimization of end-to-end customer journeys across email, from acquisition through post-travel, ensuring seamless, personalized, and high-impact experiences.
- Lead Email Marketing Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute the email marketing roadmap, including promotional, triggered, and transactional campaigns, with a focus on segmentation, personalization, and performance.
- Drive Lifecycle & Automation Programs: Build and scale automated journeys and lifecycle programs that nurture leads, increase conversions, and drive repeat engagement and loyalty.
- Leverage Data & Optimize Performance: Define KPIs, analyze campaign and journey performance, and lead testing strategies to continuously improve engagement, conversion, and revenue.
- Own Marketing Technology & Data Integration: Manage and optimize email and marketing automation platforms, ensuring strong data integrity, segmentation capabilities, and tracking.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally & Lead Execution: Partner with Brand, Creative, Product, and Sales teams to align messaging and campaigns, while establishing efficient processes and best practices for execution.
- Lead & Develop Team (if applicable): Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of innovation, testing, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in email marketing, CRM, or customer lifecycle marketing
- Proven track record of building and optimizing customer journeys that drive measurable business impact
- Deep expertise in segmentation, personalization, and marketing automation
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to inform strategy and decision-making
- Hands-on experience with Marketo or similar email marketing system
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Experience in travel, hospitality, or e-commerce is a plus
