Cofactr is the electronics supply chain infrastructure for critical hardware. It is the first platform that connects real-time component intelligence, full procurement execution, and ITAR-registered warehousing and kitting. Defense programs, aerospace platforms, medical devices, autonomous systems, and more — the programs the world depends on — depend on Cofactr to ensure they can make their electronics on time and without risk.

The Team

At Cofactr, we're committed to fostering efficiency, scalability, and innovation. We are transforming the landscape of hardware manufacturing with our comprehensive ecosystem of Supply chain tools, designed to streamline processes and enable new possibilities.

The Role

  • Process purchase lines using the distributor API ordering and manually placing orders through websites.
  • Learn and use the Cofactr platform to confirm, track, and adjust orders as needed.
  • Ensure that all of the data shown to our customers is accurate regarding lead times and arrival estimates to the best of our ability.
  • Problem-solving procurement issues related to delayed parts, decommits, and other availability issues. If necessary, remediate purchase lines.
  • Quote complete BOMs for customers using our price-solving software.
  • Contact suppliers for individual part quotes, lead times, and other info.
  • Report software bugs and issues to our front-end engineering team.
  • Report data discrepancies and issues to our data team.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years working in procurement in the field of electronics for a contractor manufacturer/EMS or electronics OEM is required
  • Knowledge of basic electronics supply chain terms and issues - MOQ, manufacturer leads times, part decommits, end-user restrictions, and statements
  • Experience working with PCBA and procurement BOMs
  • Comfortable learning new software quickly
  • Able to keep track of and organize significant amounts of data.
  • Basic understanding of Excel and Google Suite
  • A good communicator who can effectively report issues and problems as they pop up.
  • Must be *very* detail-oriented.
