Create and maintain EDI maps, configure trading partners, troubleshoot EDI communications and transaction errors, and support ERP and other enterprise applications. The role participates in design, implementation, testing, documentation, issue resolution, end-user training, and customer communications. The analyst must manage multiple projects, coordinate with technical and development teams, and support EDI transactions including 810, 850, 855, 856, 875, and 880.
Job Summary & ResponsibilitiesPreferred Qualifications
An EDI Analyst is responsible for new customer setups as well as maintaining and troubleshooting current EDI communications. In addition to EDI support, this candidate will assist in supporting other enterprise applications currently utilized by the organization. The EDI Analyst will be a part of a team supporting all phases of the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's EDI platform.
Responsibilities:
- Create new EDI maps.
- Troubleshoot EDI errors.
- Communicate with customers regarding EDI changes.
- Support various aspects of the ERP application.
- Support other enterprise business applications.
- Participation in all phases of testing.
- Perform testing and thoroughly document issues.
- Work with the technical and development team to resolve identified issues in a timely manner.
- Create and review documented materials for accuracy.
- Assist in end user training and support.
- Willingness to learn the needs of the organization and implement EDI to gain efficiency.
- Ability to successfully multitask and manage multiple projects at once.
- Other relevant tasks as assigned.
- 3+ years of experience working with EDI technologies.
- Experience in EDI analysis, trading partner setup, mapping, communications, testing, troubleshooting, and support.
- Experience with EDI transactions such as 810, 850, 855, 856, 875, and 880.
- Proven track record with implementing with EDI 856 ASNs.
- Experience with EDI ERP integration.
- Project management experience helpful.
- Ability to coordinate, manage, and complete tasks effectively.
- Excellent written, interpersonal, verbal communication and organizational skills.
