Own and grow the US D2C ecommerce business end-to-end: set SEO, content, paid search, email (Klaviyo), and conversion strategies; execute SEO content, run Google Ads, analyze with GA4/GTM/Search Console, run A/B tests, optimize conversion, manage affiliates, and report performance with data-backed recommendations.

About the role

We're looking for a hands-on Ecommerce Marketing Manager to own and grow our US ecommerce business end to end. This is a builder's role, not a delegator's. You'll work with the CMO to set the strategy across SEO, content, email, and conversion, and you'll personally execute much of it. You'll be the person who both decides what moves the numbers and makes it happen. If you're energized by owning traffic and conversion targets and can point to results you've personally driven, this is for you.

What you'll own

  • US D2C ecommerce, end to end. Full responsibility for all activities related to the US D2C ecommerce business, including its performance against traffic and revenue goals.
  • SEO strategy — organic and paid. Continue and expand our SEO strategy across both organic and paid channels, from keyword and content planning through execution and measurement.
  • Content that supports SEO. Write and publish blog posts and on-site content that advance the SEO strategy and drive qualified traffic.
  • Paid search and analytics. Plan, run, and optimize Google Ads campaigns; use Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and Search Console to measure, attribute, and improve performance.
  • Conversion optimization. Design and run A/B tests on-site to lift conversion rates, and turn results into a prioritized roadmap of improvements.
  • Email marketing. Build and execute ecommerce email campaigns and flows in Klaviyo — from strategy and segmentation through creative, send, and analysis.
  • Reporting and recommendations. Own all reporting on ecommerce and marketing performance, and deliver clear, data-backed recommendations for growing traffic and increasing conversion rates.
  • Affiliate marketing partners. Support and manage relationships with affiliate marketing partners, coordinating promotions and monitoring performance to drive incremental traffic and sales.

What you'll need

Experience

  • 5+ years in D2C ecommerce and digital marketing with direct ownership of an ecommerce site's traffic and conversion performance
  • A track record you can demonstrate: specific strategies you developed or supported, the tools you used, and the measurable results you achieved (traffic growth, conversion lift, revenue, list growth). Please be prepared to walk us through real examples.
  • Experience working cross-functionally, including collaborating with an international team
  • Strong writing skills for blog and on-site content that serves an SEO strategy.
  • A/B testing — practical experience designing, running, and interpreting on-site experiments.

Must have skills

Tech stack:

  • SEMRush
  • Google's analytics stack (GA4, GTM, Search Console, Google Ads)
  • Klaviyo
  • Project management tools (Monday, Asana, Productive)
  • Screaming Frog

How you work:

  • Analytical and results-driven — you start from the data and end with a recommendation.
  • Self-directed and hands-on — comfortable owning strategy and doing the execution yourself.
  • Clear communicator who can turn numbers into a story stakeholders can act on.
  • Driven—our revenue goals are ambitious and we are looking for someone who wants to run quickly with us
  • Love marketing and are not afraid to test and fail

Nice to have

  • Experience with Centra. If not Centra, then other ecommerce platforms such as Shopify
  • Familiarity with CRO tooling beyond native A/B testing (e.g., heatmaps, session recording).
  • Experience marketing across multiple countries or with a European parent/partner brand.

Compensation and benefits

  • Base salary range of $88,000–$104,000 per year
  • Annual performance bonus tied to company profits and traffic/conversion goals
  • 4 weeks' paid time off
  • 401k
  • Health care
  • $600/yr wellness stipend

Why work at Woolpower, Inc.

  • Purpose-driven craft — Work for a brand that treats sustainability as responsibility with a fully transparent, controlled South American and European supply chain and fair, living wages for every worker. You'll be part of a team building long-lasting products by design instead of chasing fast-fashion turnover.
  • People-first culture — Woolpower is built to be a place people genuinely enjoy working, where care, compassion, and consideration guide how the team operates.
  • Independence & integrity — Contribute to a company that answers to its own values, not industry trends, with the freedom that comes from independent, family ownership.
  • Help make the outdoors accessible to everyone — We believe the outdoors is for everyone and build products that support that ethos. We offer a broad size range and a layering system that adapts to different bodies and different needs, helping more people find gear that truly fits and performs.
  • Real heritage, real roots — Woolpower's roots trace back to 1969, born out of real Arctic conditions. "Born in the cold, made for adventure" isn't just a slogan — it's where the brand comes from, and the work you do helps people enjoy the outdoors in every season.
  • Be part of a 100-year vision — Woolpower is building for the next century. You'll help bring high-functioning base and mid-layers to the people who need them, products so well-made that customers never have to replace them — work that's about lasting impact, not disposable output.
