Early Learning Solutions Specialist

Location: New Mexico

Employment Type: Full-Time, Remote with Required Regional Travel

About MarcoPolo Learning

Founded in 2013, MarcoPolo Learning is an award‑winning educational technology company dedicated to advancing early childhood education through innovative, research‑driven solutions and best‑in‑class support. Our products are used in thousands of public and private schools across North America. MarcoPolo Learning is headquartered in New York City, with support offices in Tampa, Houston, and London (UK).

Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate Early Learning Solutions Specialist to join our growing team and represent MarcoPolo Learning in key regional markets. This is NOT a traditional sales role—it's a unique opportunity for educators who want to leave the classroom but stay connected to their passion for early childhood education.

As an Early Learning Solutions Specialist, you'll be the face of MarcoPolo Learning in your region, building authentic relationships with educators and administrators at the local level. You'll split your time between supporting existing partner schools, evangelizing our products at regional conferences and county office meetings, and helping to expand our footprint through grassroots relationship-building.

This position is ideal for former teachers who have a natural ability to connect with educators, love presenting and demonstrating educational products, and want to make a broader impact on early childhood education—without the pressure of traditional sales quotas or commission structures.

Travel Requirements: Regular attendance at local and regional conferences (typically 3-4 per year in your region), plus occasional site visits to partner schools. This is a remote position, but you must be based in or near your target market.

What You'll Do

Product Evangelism & Community Building

  • Represent MarcoPolo Learning at local  meetings, regional conferences, and educator gatherings
  • Conduct product demos and presentations for principals, curriculum coordinators, and early childhood administrators
  • Build and nurture relationships with local decision-makers who directly support teachers
  • Share the MarcoPolo story and mission with authenticity and passion

Partner Success & Support

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for partner schools in your region
  • Provide onboarding support and training to new partner schools
  • Conduct regular check-ins (virtual and in-person) to ensure partner satisfaction
  • Gather feedback and success stories from educators using MarcoPolo products
  • Help partners maximize the value they get from MarcoPolo Learning

Relationship Management & Growth

  • Maintain visibility in your regional early childhood education community
  • Follow up on opportunities identified at conferences and meetings
  • Coordinate with our central office team on proposals, quotes, and contract details
  • Track regional activities and partnership health in our CRM (HubSpot)

What Success Looks Like

  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with educators and administrators in your region
  • Consistently represent MarcoPolo Learning professionally at conferences and events
  • Maintain high satisfaction levels among your assigned partner schools
  • Identify and surface opportunities for new partnerships through authentic relationship-building
  • Become a recognized face of MarcoPolo Learning in your local education community

Note: This is NOT a quota-driven sales role. We're looking for educators who naturally evangelize great products and build genuine relationships.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • 3+ years of experience as a preschool or elementary school teacher (public school setting strongly preferred)
  • Deep understanding of early childhood education and teacher needs
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Natural relationship-builder who educators and administrators trust
  • Self-motivated with strong initiative and follow-through
  • Comfortable with technology and learning new digital tools
  • Willing and able to travel regularly within your region (valid driver's license required)

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Experience working in diverse school settings
  • Prior experience at conferences, professional development, or teacher training
  • Understanding of adoption processes and educational purchasing decisions
  • Experience working with education technology products
  • Bilingual skills (especially Spanish)
  • Existing connections in your regional early childhood education community
  • Comfort with ambiguity and building processes in a growth-stage startup environment

Personal Qualities We Value

  • Passionate advocate for early childhood education—this work is a calling, not just a job
  • Entrepreneurial mindset—you're excited to help build something and figure things out as you go
  • Resilient and resourceful—you don't give up easily when faced with challenges
  • Team player—you're collaborative and willing to support colleagues across the organization
  • Natural curiosity—you love learning and are energized by new ideas and approaches
  • Authenticity—you build relationships by being genuine, not pushy

Why This Role Matters

As an Early Learning Solutions Specialist, you'll be on the front lines of transforming early childhood education. The relationships you build will directly impact thousands of children and hundreds of educators. You'll help teachers discover tools that make their jobs easier and their instruction more effective. And you'll be part of a mission-driven team that's passionate about making quality early learning accessible to all children.

If you're a former teacher who wants to scale your impact, stay connected to the education community you love, and avoid the pressure of traditional sales roles, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $65,000–$70,000 annually (depending on market and experience)
  • Performance-based annual bonus (tied to regional and company-wide goals—NOT individual quotas)
  • Stock options (equity in a growing company!)

Benefits Package:

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance
  • 401(k) plan with company matching
  • 3 weeks paid vacation
  • Winter break during Christmas & New Year
  • Mileage reimbursement for regional travel
  • Conference and travel expense reimbursement

Work Environment:

  • Remote/hybrid with flexibility to work from home
  • Supportive, mission-driven culture that values work-life balance
  • Family-friendly policies and understanding of personal commitments
  • Collaborative team that celebrates wins together
  • Access to ongoing learning and growth opportunities
