The EA - Project Manager supports high-impact, cross-functional initiatives across NGP VAN’s Operations organization. This role is responsible for project managing work related to Pipeline Cloud and Pipeline Classic, two core data integration products, including platform migrations, conversions, and custom importer initiatives. The EA-Project Manager also owns the data dictionary for Pipeline Cloud and is responsible for drafting and managing internal Statements of Work (SOWs). This position ensures project execution is timely, coordinated across teams, and aligned with organizational priorities.
Essential Position Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead project management of work streams related to Pipeline Cloud and Pipeline Classic, technical conversions, workflow management, and system improvements.
Coordinate development and operational timelines for custom importers associated with both products.
Maintain and own the Pipeline Cloud data dictionary, ensuring definitions and processes are accurate and current.
Draft, manage, and track internal Statements of Work (SOWs) for initiatives related to data product improvements, migrations, and infrastructure readiness.
Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and schedules in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Facilitate clear communication and coordination between Support, Sales, Data Operations, and other teams as needed.
Maintain documentation including project plans and status reports.
Identify blockers, technical dependencies, and process gaps—and drive solutions with cross-functional partners.
Support post-project reviews and help implement continuous improvement practices across technical workflows.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Proven experience managing complex technical projects involving multiple stakeholders.
Familiarity with data integration products or SaaS platforms.
Strong ability to write and maintain clear project documentation, including SOWs, timelines, and deliverables.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
Comfortable working across cross-departmental teams in fast-paced environments.
Education and Experience:
5+ years of experience in technical project management or operations roles.
Experience working on software product implementation or system migration projects.
Familiarity with CRM platforms, integration workflows, or data systems.
PMP, Agile, or comparable certification preferred.
Experience in political, campaign, or advocacy organizations preferred.
Familiarity with NGP VAN and/or Pipeline Cloud/Classic platforms preferred.
This position is a part of a bargaining union represented by CWA Local 1101, 1400, 2336, or 13000

Compensation
The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and in addition to benefits this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity.
US base salary range: $58,700 - $90,000
