Job Description

At Visa, the Issuer Processing function aims to offer processing products that are innovative and future ready. Visa DPS, which is Visa's main Issuer Processing asset, is one of the largest Issuer Processors of Visa Debit transactions. DPS works with our clients to offer processing products and services that are ready for the future and help our clients achieve market leadership. The Product Manager role is responsible for managing a range of DPS Debit Card products and services for this dynamic business.

This Product Manager role oversees DPS Debit Card Services that support Debit and Credit processing.  This role belongs to a crucial team within the DPS processing organization and provides a payments product manager with the initiative and drive to create a roadmap, build new products, collaborate across the DPS business. This includes Sales, Account Management, Marketing, Finance, Technology, Operations, and Legal teams, as well as the wider Issuing Solutions organization.

This position will be based in Highlands Ranch, CO United States -- pls note IN PERSON attendence is a requirement and that the preferred location is Highlands Ranch (this is not a remote role) 

Responsibilities

• You will contribute to the overall payments product lifecycle including product vision, launch plans, tech partnership, revenue and usage targets, and various other vital artifacts (analysis, proof of concept document, business case, product requirements including an end to end understanding of impacted systems, full gherkin acceptance criteria, product features prioritization, product backlog, best practices documentation).

• You will ideate, innovate, and drive large-scale initiatives in partnership with other product owners and across product lines and across various sizes of partners and clients.

• You will ensure the delivery meets or exceeds specific standards for development, including best-in-class innovation and accelerated concept to market implementation delivery timelines.  At DPS we are bold and move fast.

• You will support crafting product enhancements and technology requests which meet the business needs and are rolled-out as designed, while also managing the correction of any defects / issues associated with product suite.

• You will perform competitive, customer, and market analysis to bring new market and innovation opportunities into focus.  Must become an expert on client business needs and competitive landscape evolution.  Translate market and customer insights to drive product strategy and decisions and client adoption.

• Support the enhancement of DPS Debit Card Services value added services, strategy, and objectives across a 3–5-year roadmap to serve as a differentiator in winning new issuer processing deals and grow Visa’s value-added services business.

• Support the production of product financials including pricing and revenue/expense forecasting.

•You will support the operational excellence and quality of the DPS products and support standard product operational activities as needed.

• Clearly understand and articulate the value of both DPS and Visa’s products and drive the development of product, features, and functionality.

• You will develop product positioning and messaging, set direction for marketing and sales plans, and develop collateral and sales materials.

• Create key differentiating DPS Debit Card services products.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD 
  • You have demonstrated track record as Product manager in payments, financial services, ecommerce
  • Have prior expertise in business to business industry, working with large and small clients and optimized go to market approaches to dedicate resources to highest and best use
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast moving environment, excited to drive change and transformation in payments

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 117,700.00 to 170,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
