Map and document finance processes, approval matrices, segregation-of-duties controls, SOX/ICFR requirements, and decision rules for AI agents. Analyze policies, accounting manuals, audit findings, and operational discrepancies; create test cases and evidence-backed datasets; and validate agent behavior. Partner with CFOs, controllers, auditors, and engineers to ratify and maintain the finance rulebook across record-to-report, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, close, treasury, expenses, and FP&A.
Description
About Factify
AI agents are starting to make decisions in regulated enterprises, including US banks and insurers. Factify turns an organization’s policies, documents and real-world practice into a sealed, executable rulebook that governs how those agents decide. Every decision is traceable, auditable and ratified by the people who own the process.
The role
You will be our finance expert. You will map how the finance function runs at large US-regulated enterprises, including approvals, controls, exceptions and close activities, and define the rules that let AI agents operate inside it without breaking controls.
What you’ll do
- Map core finance processes: record-to-report, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, period close and consolidation, treasury, expense management and FP&A.
- Document approval matrices, delegation-of-authority rules, segregation-of-duties constraints and internal controls (SOX / ICFR).
- Analyze finance policies, accounting manuals and audit findings. Identify where documented policy and day-to-day practice differ.
- Define decision rules for tasks such as invoice matching, accrual and reconciliation thresholds, spend approvals and journal-entry validation.
- Build test cases and golden-label datasets with documented evidence, and review agent behavior against them.
- Partner with CFOs, controllers and internal audit to ratify the rulebook and keep it current.
- 10+ years in finance leadership, controllership, finance transformation, internal audit or a Big 4 finance advisory practice.
- Hands-on US GAAP and SOX 404 / ICFR (COSO) experience at a US-listed company. This includes Israeli companies listed in the US.
- Experience with ERP-driven finance operations (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite or similar).
- Experience mapping and redesigning finance processes, with credibility with senior finance stakeholders.
- The ability to turn policy and judgment into explicit conditions, thresholds and exceptions.
- Fluent English, with clear written and verbal communication with CFOs, auditors and engineers.
- Location: Remote (US), with regular overlap with our Tel Aviv team (US Eastern morning hours).
Nice to have
- Experience with finance automation, shared services or an RPA / AI program in the finance function.
- CPA, CMA, CIA or equivalent credentials.
- IFRS exposure.
