Department Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Wireless Operations to lead our 5G Wireless Program's material management efforts. The ideal candidate will oversee a high-caliber existing team responsible for demand planning and fulfillment, ensuring timely delivery of all material needs critical to the success of the program. This position will play a pivotal role in coordinating with regional teams to align on milestone execution and optimize inventory management strategies.
Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a proficient team responsible for demand planning and material fulfillment for the 5G Wireless Program.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to ensure timely and efficient procurement, inventory management, and distribution of materials required for the program's success.
  • Collaborate closely with regional teams to align on milestone execution and synchronize material needs across different locations.
  • Work with and leverage our existing Material Distribution Centers in order to insource critical tasks and reach additional efficiencies.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure consistent quality, timely delivery, and cost-effectiveness of materials.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize supply chain processes, reduce lead times, and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring uninterrupted material availability to support program timelines.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the supply chain team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration.


Skills, Experience and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (10 years) in a senior supply chain management role, preferably within the telecommunications or technology industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve objectives in a fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain principles, demand forecasting techniques, and inventory management strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a track record of driving process improvements.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex supply chain networks and navigate through ambiguity to deliver results.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.


Salary Ranges
Compensation: $185,000.00/Year - $225,000.00/Year

The base pay range provided is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies. Compensation is also based on the role's location and may change depending on the work location. Candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check. The posting will be active for a minimum of 3 days and will continue to extend by 3 days until the position is filled.
