Position Summary 

The Director, Transformation will be a key member of the team responsible for executing our teammate experience strategy, as well as driving innovation within our people strategy and programs. 

You will diagnose significant organizational challenges and work with your team to design creative and scalable solutions with a tech-enabled mindset. This role is critical for planning, executing, and measuring the impact of large-scale transformations within the People Team. You will be responsible for leading a portfolio of enterprise-wide projects, guiding project teams, and collaborating effectively across the organization. 

Initiatives tackled by this role will eliminate friction in teammate journeys, create standout experiences, and ensure the People Team can adapt quickly to the evolving needs of our Village. 

Core Responsibilities 

  • Contribute to Transformation Strategy: Support the establishment and maintenance of the critical principles needed to define and tackle complex organizational priorities impacting our team and Village. 

  • Drive Strategic Initiatives: Manage projects within the Transformation portfolio, partnering with the team on project objectives, OKRs, and overarching direction. You will lead enterprise-wide, cross-functional initiatives designed to dramatically improve the teammate experience. 

  • Diagnose & Solve Problems: Leverage a hypothesis-based approach and root cause analysis to identify, validate, and quantify opportunities for improvement, addressing key pain points like cost inefficiency and friction in teammate processes. 

  • Lead with Human-Centered Design: Apply human-centered design principles, including conducting employee experience research, to understand teammate and business needs and inform solutions. 

  • Champion Change & Manage Stakeholders: Implement change management strategies, provide toolkits, and lend expertise to support transformation efforts across the organization and drive lasting adoption. 

  • Leverage Technology & Data: Champion a tech-enabled mindset, using data synthesis and storytelling to make the case for change and measure impact. Leverage technology to solve key inefficiencies and create opportunities to streamline and improve existing processes. 

  • Innovate & Experiment: Employ an agile development approach, using experimentation and prototyping to test and deploy disruptive solutions. 
     

Key Qualifications & Capabilities 

  • 5+ years of progressive experience. 

  • Proven experience supporting or leading large-scale HR or People transformations. 

  • Effectively allocates and prioritizes resources to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met. 

  • Takes accountability for results; experience coaching or developing teammates is a plus. 

  • Expertise in change management and developing strategies that build organizational resiliency. 

  • Comfort presenting to senior audiences and effectively managing relationships with cross-functional partners and leaders to drive adoption of new processes and tools. 

  • Strong capabilities in problem framing and root cause analysis to diagnose complex organizational issues. 

  • An innovative mindset with a track record of using experimentation and agile methodologies. 

  • Exceptional ability in data synthesis and storytelling to influence stakeholders and drive decisions.

The Salary Range for the role is $114,000.00 - $181,000.00 per year.

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
